Is dating a total nightmare right now?

I'd be curious to hear people's thoughts on this, especially those who are actively on the dating scene.

Maybe just for those 29-30 year olds. They are complaining about not being enthusiastically approached like when they were 21 and men not wanting to have meaningful conversations. That's correct, men don't want to have conversations with social media influencers and don't approach women outside of dating apps or hook up locations like bars. My theory? These are the type of women who talk about themselves during the date then get angry the man is spaced out.

Influencers tend to be obnoxious with a touch of narcissism. Putting your life’s ups and down out there for anyone to see says a lot about yourself. Dating has never been easy much social media just adds fuel to the fire.

This is nothing new. I've been off the casting scene for 10 years and it was awful back then in DC.

+1 not to mention women I know that fit their descriptions often have these impossible "lists" prospective men must live up to and they are usually pretty picky and self-centered.

Yes it happened today again. An 18 yr old kid approached me. Guess you look too old to be approached huh?
