I agree, but the law says “practicable” not “possible”, so there is a difference that could come into play when people say they aren’t following all recommendations. |
But if the county's mandates are exactly aligned with CDC's, their policy should be to recommend. |
They have other recommendations that FCPS isn't following. Why some and not others? |
It might not be practicable. |
No. That’s not what 1303 says. |
This has been hashed out in the past 81 pages and SB meetings, go take a look there. Ultimately, those decisions are up to them. |
Wearing masks is very practicable, we’ve been doing it for almost a year in school. |
They don’t need to be aligned, the use CDC and VDH or guidance to make decisions. |
PP here. Yes. That’s what I’m saying. So when people say “Well, they aren’t following every recommendation to a T”, it’s because not every recommendation is as practicable. |
And if it's recommended, the school can require it. That's the way it works. |
Not having sports/activities is more practicable than making everyone wear masks. |
By definition, no. They are both possible but masks are much more practicable than canceling everything but the 3 Rs. |
They will never do that as it could affect future scholarships/admissions for students. |
It’s the other way around. |
