The "anti-mask crowd" can absolutely wait until the end of February. But then that's it, right? The "mask-forever crowd" will not start screaming about young child vaccinations, variants, long covid, deaths per day, high risk students, teachers leaving, and so on, right?

If we’ve learned anything in the past few years it’s that government will give you permission to live like a free human being in a few more weeks.

What a ridiculous drama queen you are.

They say Children’s is full, 70% of admissions are COVID (that is COVID is the reason for admission, not an incidental finding). They are admitting about 18 kids a day. Most are 5 and under. 1/3 are admitted to the ICU.

Also, that in non-hospitalized young kids, they are seeing an “aggressive” form of croup like illness that they (and parents) find alarming. And that Type 1 diabetes has been linked to Omicron. That’s a lifelong illness.

Maybe be less harsh on new parents who cannot get kids vaxxed?

Type 1 diabetes is caused by covid.

It is a risk factor for covid.

You have your info backwards.

Not PP, but T1 diabetes is both an underlying risk factor that can lead to severe illness from Covid AND Covid infection is associated with increased incidence of new onset of T1 diabetes.
