I think it totally depends on who you are. I worked in the Senate and saw the "warm" side of her when she was interacting with other Senators. Others, not so much. |

Paul Newman - I worked for several summers at one of his camps. He would come every summer and hang out. Just a regular nice guy who loved to spend time with the kids. He'd sit in the dining hall eating speghetti drinking (his own brand!) lemonade with the rest of us.
Anna Clumsky (VEEP) she was in line with her husband to get her daughter's picture with Santa at a local Maryland mall (presumably when they were filming VEEP in B'more.) Seemed very normal just hanging out in a long line with our squirmy kids with all the other parents. |

Danny Bonaduce
I saw him just a few years ago. He was attractive in person, magnetic smile, unique looking. I was too shy to say “hi”. |
|
I lived in New York and LA. I met and/or saw numerous celebrities. Some were very nice.
The most notable thing to me was how different some of them looked in person. Some of the celebrities were very attractive on screen and not so much in person. Some were attractive on screen and were even more stunning in person. |

Meghan Markle: When my son and I were visiting my uncle in Toronto, we went down to see Suits being filmed (love the show). In between takes Meghan was sitting off to the side with some sort of hot drink and she came over and interacted with my son a bit. Said how cute he was and ruffled his curls. At the time she wasn't as well known (obviously!) so I didn't really think anything of it.
She was very kind and warm. She didn't give off that fakey vibe that some people have when talking to little kids. She seemed very genuine. Had I only known what would happen in a few years, I would've gotten a picture! Hindsight and all of that. |
Agree! He was genuine and made my husband and I feel welcome at a social gathering. While my husband knew who he was, I didn’t until he brought up his wife in our conversation. He was a great family man. |
| I was seatmates with Kristen Chenoweth on the train to NYC. She was exactly as you would imagine - super warm, friendly, and gracious. I absolutely adored her before I met her - and love her even more now. She's A list in my book. |
That's a neat story. I suspect that Meghan is genuinely a nice person, not that fake conniver that some people try to see. Your story just confirms that. |

Sonia Sotomayor - she is the nicest, warmest Justice on the Court. She is super approachable, down to earth and will stop for a picture or to chit chat. Always smiling and warm. Love her to pieces.

Back in the mid 90's my best friend was a college student at UCLA (I went to a different college in So. Cal.)
I was at a party at her apartment in Brentwood and she introduced me to her neighbor, he was the voice of Ferdinand the Duck from the movie Babe. He was very nice and cool to talk to. |
| Leo Decaprio- way back in the early 90s. My cousin is an agent and gave me tickets to an MTV awards show after party. Before Titanic fame. Around Basketball Diaries time. Not very friendly. |
Jayson Werth is also a skirt chaser... |
huh? Signed, a Black person |
My father met Bill Cosby back in the '70s and he said the same thing. Complete asshole. Totally not what his character on TV led us to believe. |
I just want to know how does someone meet so many famous black people while meeting so few famous non-black people? |
