Posturing aside, Loudoun has not shown that it is all that capable as a club of having success in the higher age groups and developing significant numbers of high level talent. On the girls side, FCV built a higher level ECNL/DA program -- right under their nose -- over the last 5-10 years and on the Boys side they weren't able to get full DA. So while they may continue to survive due to the fact that they have deep pockets, will continue to have a monopoly on field space, and are the 'de facto' league for Loudoun County kids, they still have to show that they are up for the task.

Thanks for the nothing burger. How bout this?

Loudoun has ECNL and owns their own fields. Line right up folks get your ticket here.

Good luck BRYC Dad facing the best of Loudoun and FCV next year. Just like the good old days!

Fields, ECNL and subpar training. They'll still struggle against BRYC, McLean, etc.

Against teams that have never beaten them? Better train hard this summer.

What are you talking about 07s only? LOL. Kickball is over, son.

Thanks for the wisdom Pappy.

Pappy, tell us the story about the Redskins and the Super Bowls. Tell us about how good they are Pappy. I bet all the NFL Draftees this year wanted to go there. So they can play with the best 1991 team. And the best 1987 team and best 1983 team. That what matters right?

Talked with FCV parent, minute they decide to move from Evergreen they are out. Not one, but many likely...

And that means one more open spot for someone from BRYC to leave that hell hole. except for the 07's they aren't strong enough to make it in either DA or ECNL

How about I take you back to 2018-19 when Loudoun's u13 ECNL team was 2-4 against McLean, BRYC, and VDA and 0-3 in the 2nd matchup with each? And when Loudoun 07 lost to a McLean team they had never lost to before?

Let me guess, you're a douche bag from Pittsburgh? Go back and take your white trash family with you.

But won't they do what they always do (and so do other clubs, not a FCV-exclusive bash) and tell you what you want to hear ("We'll only use the Springfield facility in a supplemental way.... We'll be mindful of drive times", etc.) until it's too late for you to make a move for 2019-2020? And then we'll talk about how much that sucked on this forum for a year until it's this time next year and it all starts all over....

Buying a club from 40ish miles away, whose membership will likely not make that trek. They just made some deal with DC United a couple of months ago and of course they've partnered with NCSL on futsal, etc. Seems like they are flailing around at anything and everything trying to get people in the door. Might be struggling a bit?

I don’t think there was any turnout for St James tryouts—by using the FCV name perhaps they can get more attention and better talent. Also- for some leagues if you keep a percentage of original team you keep your standing/designation and don’t come in as a “new” team and have to work yourself up from the bottom or scrounge to build Gotsoccer points to get in higher brackets of tournaments. If they were “st James” they would not get into these leagues/tournaments.

So it’s the 07 record that matters? Thanks Pappy.

This is exactly why TSJ needed to buy an existing club.
