The St James acquires FCV

The St. James FC Virginia teams will train in The St. James’ 110,000 square-foot Field House — the only indoor FIFA regulation-sized soccer pitch in the region— as well as a 8,000 square-foot High Performance Center and a 33,000 square-foot Court House for futsal instruction and match play. The St. James FC Virginia will also seek out opportunities to expand this program to Prince William and Fairfax Counties.

Regarding the 07s.....McLean beat Loudoun ONE time over the last 3 years, and that was 1-0 on a PK at OBGC in the Fall. Hardly dominating them...

The reason that Loudoun's older teams haven't stacked up well in years past was that there was no path for U13 and above, so the best players left for FCV (ECNL at the time) and others. Loudoun developed them, FCV took them and took credit for them..... FCV does not have a good program for the younger kids....they bring them in from other clubs. Just look at this year, when the turnout was lower than expected because of the variety of options now for the Ashburn area (e.g., FCV is not the only game in town....).

What if the St James bought Evergreen? Evergreen is actually for sale, and it would make a lot of sense. Would keep FCV’s field intact, field operation is in line with St James’ business.

I thought all the VDA kids were going to leave for McLean and BRYC? That’s changed? They’ll all leave The St James FC Virginia now?

I don't think PAC is privately owned. From the website: "Premier Athletics Club, (PAC), is a non-profit, federal tax-exempt organization."
