Guess the rumor that FCV was having some financial difficulties was true.

interesting. I will closely follow how this goes in the next 12 months because that facility is nice and we would be up for switching clubs next year.

So all those fcv kids are now going to practice in Springfield?

Financial problems got too much for christian. Sold their club to a fitness center.

That will be a painful trip.....

Club is amazing and perhaps this is the way FCV escapes being next door to Loudoun. May affect their current player pool that might not want to fight traffic to get there. Good news for Loudoun ECNL.

Very painful.. good news for current Annandale, Springfield, and Alexandria kids. Will the club be ECNL/DA?

Wow- Springfield?

Yikes. That is 35-40 miles away from current FCV locations. I see a change in player pool coming if practices are in Springfield . . .

This is good news for Loudoun and McLean from a player retention/recruitment perspective, and bad news for some of the other VA clubs. The facilities in Springfield are quite nice.

Yeah, but the facilities and the $ the Saint James has could be a big win. Will be interesting to see all of the particulars come out.
