There are "Jewish" schools, but just like Gonzaga, Sidwell, St Albans or DeMatha, not all students are of the religion of the school.
Identifiable clothes? Ph, you mean Hasidic Jews? There are like, what, 10,000 of those in the US. The rest wear clothes from the Gap or the Nike store or whatever you are likely wearing.
I cannot think of an all-Jewish neighborhood outside of parts of Brooklyn or the Suffern, NY area. Do tell, what are the "Jewish" neighborhoods in DC?

What's sad is that there is so much funding at stake here, for low-income black families. That's why there is little outcry over the comments.

What's all this talk about whether Jews are identifiable? (Personally, and I'm Jewish, I think they are in 90% of the cases.) This thread is about a DC official's enabling of a virulent anti-Semite, holding the megaphone while the scumbag spewed his venom. Why is anybody turning this around to bitch about Jews? That may be true, but skin color is not the sole means of identification. The Nation of Islam member who called Elissa Silverman a "fake Jew" had no trouble identifying her. Indeed, anti-Semites have made a virtual science of ways to identify Jews. Maybe you are familiar with their practice of putting ((( ))) around the Twitter handles of people they identify as Jews?

I could probably come just as close as you could. However, neither of us would be perfect. Both of us would use clues beyond skin color. That's exactly how Jews are often identified by both Jews and non-Jews.

Yes, they are. Antisemitism is on the rise in Germany, as it is elsewhere throughout the world, and Jews are asked to "hide" their religion.

And is that the excuse for antisemtitism that the other PP is giving? That one can pretend they're not Jewish?
