Is it wrong to day dream about being a trophy wife?

I'm pursuing an art hobby, I've taken up golf, I travel a lot with my husband, have a winter home in Florida, DH never questions my spending (I'm actually frugal which helps) and I'm really enjoying life. Does my DH want a younger model? No way and I often ask him! He knows I'd take half his net worth and our kids would reverse disown him! Finally, I still show well, can glam it up and I still love sex 1-2 times a week. I may no longer be a hard body but I know how to use what I have.

Dumbass, you aren't a trophy wife. You are smug jerk, though.

If it means model gorgeous woman married to ugly rich guy - that's not me.
But if it means educated attractive woman who worked ina career until 37 then decided to stay home with kids while high earning husband advanced his career - that's me. Now I'm an at home mom with teens. We live comfortably. Travel. Entertain. Enjoy life. I spend my days in all sorts of ways including excersise and lunching with friends and shopping. As well as maintaining our home, planning travel, managing finances which includes a side business we run together, summer on nantucket, etc. etc.
it's what you describe except I'm not "having sex for money".

Are you sleeping with the gardener or the pool boy?

I live your life too. It's a good one and I feel very fortunate

Don't you feel lazy? A waste of space?

Sounds like jealousy has no bounds! She may not be a trophy wife but she's got a pretty nice life. I'd be pretty happy to live that life when I've been married 35 years.

Why would you assume jealousy? Lots of us have a good life, but only a smug jerk posts something like this. Same thing w FB posts; when I see this kind of thing, I think either smug jerk or complete liar.
