- she is gorgeous, so talented and very rich. She has no reason to compromise and settle in a mediocre relationship. She is one of the few women around who is at absolute liberty to engage with any man she finds attractive as long as she pleases and not a day or two more. Regular women have finances and lives to think about in a way that she is shielded from due to her massive wealth and resources. Instead of trudging along in a lifeless marriage, she’s off and trying to find a new man she has a connection with. The result is, I imagine, a series of very emotionally and sexually fulfilling shorter term romances.

- she probably wants an equally successful and powerful man and that’s hard to come by due to sheer statistics. There aren’t that many successful and single men out there whose profiles would hatch her. And even when she does meet and date the few that exist, two hugely successful and famous people rarely can make it work.

did you forget that she dated Casper smart? and it was not for a short time, either.

I actually think that she's been picking the wrong men. Most of the men that she has been with (Casper Smart, Marc Anthony, A-Rod, Diddy) have cheated on her. That does a number on someone I don't care how beautiful, rich, and successful you are. I hope it does work out with her and Ben. I believe he's the only one (or one of the very few) out of her famous exes who never cheated on her.

Not everyone wants to keep a man, and I think sometimes people forget that. A long term relationship is a lot of work and eventually the lack of novelty means a lack of excitement. Yes, it means more security and deeper connections. But some people prefer butterflies in their stomach.

True, but in the case of JLo's exes, it seems that at least one of the reasons for most of the breakups was that the man cheated. I think we're making the assumption that JLo doesn't want a long-term relationship.

but she does. with almost every man there is an engagement circus, then he cheats and then the breakup.

She's in love with love! Leave her alone. She's fine.

So why can't she keep a man?

Obviously, she doesn't need a man, that's why she doesn't keep 'em.

TL;DR
She is too hot, rich, worshipped, famous and successful to settle with any guy who does not measure up. She does not have to keep a man because she can keep a man.

This is true. Not everyone has a knack for picking the right men. Its a true skillset that many smart women hone early in life when they are dating to marry. She seems to be unable to see who will be faithful vs who will not. The string of relationships where she was cheated on doesnt help.

Gotcha.

Right. Who's to say that she is not 'putting up with' men too long, and when it's run its course, she moves on. Not all women are clingy.

Have you heard of the Inauguration or the Super Bowl?

Yup. And I'm afraid Ben is going to do the same with her. He also cheated on Jen Garner so .. Anyway, she does not have a good track record of picking good men. She likes the bad boys unfortunately. And I doubt she's just looking for an F buddy. She seems to fall for these guys hard. Isn't she moving to California to be with Ben and even introduced her kids to him already? That's a sign of someone who has fallen quickly.

Most smart women choose better, she appears to have trouble learning from experience.
