This is going in circles.

I wish Lena Durham was the Op it would be so much more fun and avant gard than this.

Hey start a blog, write a script, navel gaze at home alone about the tedious minutiae of your life. GO AWAY NOW.

Op here: I honestly don't know. The high school I went to is very well known though and known for being very good.

Op here: I don't know if I would say that however, about 90% of the time I have to show my ID to someone or tell them my last name, they immediately will ask "are you related to..." And it's always either my grandfather or dad they are asking about.

Op here: yes, my dad is still running the business that he took over from my grandfather as well as a couple new ones. I know that my 3 siblings and I and my 4 cousins will be getting a decent amount of money from my grandparents which I just learned over Christmas. Not sure what I would be getting from my parents as I have mentioned that they raised me and my siblings in a way that made us not spoiled and not in a mindset of us thinking we can have or get whatever we want.

Op here: the family I worked for in Virginia was a high profile government family if that makes any sense. I also worked as a nanny for one summer in the Hamptons for a family who's grandfather was one of the top 10 richest people in the world so the family was famous in that sense.

OP, you mention that you have Sicilian ancestry; that you are from a wealthy family and from New England. I'm thinking that your father and grandfather were in the mob? Am I correct or am I stereotyping?

Amazing that they'd hire someone so young and, I assume, inexperienced.

I guess you're not part of the Patriarca family if you dated a cop.

OP here: Which family? I was 23 when I moved to Virginia and had 6 years of nanny experience at that point. I worked as a nanny in the Hamptons when I was 22 and had 5 years of nanny experience. Also, the kids for the Hamptons family were 5 year old twins so they were older and they really just wanted someone young and active to be able to take the twins to the beach, pool, etc. and just keep up with them.
