I ordered this for my one dog about a year ago. Sent it in and got the results back quickly. I switched my dogs to a raw diet and went with the proteins he could have. It worked like a dream. I recently orders it for another one of my dogs, same timely manner and great insight on his intolerances. The results did not resemble each other at all. I have even attempted to feed something that was in the bad list and sure enough there was a reaction. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good baseline. It's inexpensive and actually tests for more things then other tests out there.
Worst groupon I have purchased. I still haven't received my animals results two months later. I contacted the company (they don't offer a phone number) only email communication options. They told me they have no record of receiving my pets samples yet they new my pets names (the only place I wrote their names was on the sample that I sent in). They offered me two options. Option 1) a new kit but I would have to pay $7.50 for shipping. Or option 2) a reimbursement but a $7.50 shipping charge (why are they charging me shipping again. When I don't want a new kit?) Worst, worst worst company. I would not buy from them. They obviously received my sample and haven't processed it and just want more money from me. I am now working with groupon to get a FULL reimbursement. Awful company.
I found this through Groupon, but purchased it through the Immune IQ website. I chose to add on all of the optional testing for my black lab. The whole process was quick. I had the sample request within 4 or 5 days, and then I received the results via email about a week after I mailed the sample in. Our vet had told us in the past to feed the dog grain free/dairy free to help with his ear infections, but never did any testing. Sure enough, the results came back and said he was allergic to grains/dairy and a few other things, all of which made sense. We were so pleased with the company and results that we decided to test our second dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This time, I did go through Groupon. The process was still just as quick as the first time around. Our Cavalier came back with several allergies as well. I would highly recommend Immune IQ to anyone who wants a clue about their dog! It certainly does not substitute for proper vet allergy testing if necessary, but for our dogs, this was perfect!
I ordered the kit off the Groupon Deal for $42. The Group[on said you could spend another $42 to be able to speak to a licensed vet for to 15 minutes. I mailed my results on a Friday and saw the mailman pick up the mail at 5 pm. Then I got an email from Immune IQ on Sunday about noon. I'm in Vegas and they are in Denver. I cant believe they could have received that regular mail envelope overnight and had it tested and been able to sent me results in less than 48 hours. They also said in the email they don't take telephone calls anymore! I wouldn't have ordered this without the Vet conversation as I have no idea really how to read it and analyze it like a vet would. They didn't charge me the extra money on my CC but like I said, I wouldn't have done it without that. I think its a scam and they just sent me some generic results.

I have a dog with sensitive stomach and allergy issues. I was a skeptic of the Immune IQ test, but decided to try it after spending a lot of money on expensive dog foods. I couldn't find a commercial dogwood without one or more of the foods listed as allergens, so I used the OK and Neutral listed foods to make homemade food. (I researched to be sure she is getting what she needs nutritionally.)
If I add anything listed as "not OK" to the food, she itches. From my experience, I would say the test works. |
I just got results back for my two cats and they were extremely accurate. My dogs are next. Try the 2 for 1 deal on Groupon if you have more than one pet. It seems they test for the more unusual things than regular vets do, including environmental allergens. I wondered at first if the results would be general for all pets but after seeing several results and hearing the results online here I believe they are very specific to each animal.
I mailed out my dogs specimen on A Monday and they emailed me on Thursday with results, which really is impossible since I live in New York and it was being mailed to Nevada. Also everything my dog was listed as allergic to, she never eats, another person in my vets office used this test on her dog too and guess what, her dog had the same exact allergies, I believe it is a scam and my vet does also, I'm checking into what can be done to be refunded
IMMUNE IQ IS A SCAM!!!!! This company was sent synthetic fur and water samples, then replied the "pet" was allergic to a whole host of food items. As the synthetic fur is plastic, it cannot have allergies. No veterinarian worked for or helped develop this test. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
