We'll find out soon enough. Hopefully Democrats will find a way to engineer the economic crash they're hoping for, and then hopefully the voters will reward them at the ballot box in 2026 and 2028. Let's see what happens! |
You are of course correct. But the blue bubble DCUM Democrats who have made their political party into their personal identity will never be able to see the truth of what you wrote. What DCUM Democrats fail to understand is that Trump voters have correctly deduced that neither party cares about them, and many Democrats have a sadistic desire to see them suffer. If you already believe the governing party is harming you and wants to harm you further, why would you ever vote to retain that party in power? And those voters have been proven exactly correct by the many temper tantrums from Democrats who felt entitled to those votes, and who are now busily betraying their own supposed (and clearly non-existent) ethics by loudly talking about how happy they are that Trump voters are now being harmed. |
Democrats are losing approval points because people are mad that Democrats aren't finding ways to hit Trump harder. Not because they are tolerating Trump's behavior. |
What a strange post. I see some of this from other MAGA online and I wonder why people think this. Neither Rs nor DS want to hurt people (except for Vought, who is something else). There are a lot of $s right now who are very worried but they are trying to trust in their leader. We will all see how it goes. |
If Democrats are so bad, what are you upset that Trump is tearing down everything Democrats built, from EPA to Ed to NLRB to CFPB and Medicare to Medicaid Social Security or ACA? If the democracy was a complete failure, why are you so protective of it? |
Either way, they lose today. There is no viable candidate today who beats Trump. I wish there was, actually. I think the man is dangerous and very harmful. But there is no Democrat out there that could be him today. Actually I think the margin would even be higher today than it was in November. I do not know why Democrats are continually blind to Trump’s appeal and support. I’ve been listening to Democrats confidently tell me for almost ten years now that nobody actually supports Trump and they’ve got him now, by Jove. It is reaching levels of delusion that resemble insanity. |
I am upset, you muppet. I said I'm over the red team blue team stuff. This isn't football. It's possible to be critical of both parties! Democracy works. Capitalism doesn't. Two party systems don't. |
Sure, there's no Dem leader right now. Similarly, there's no R leader either. Trump has had the attention and focus of the entire country for over a decade. |
I’m a Democrat who voted for Harris, but one who knew months ago that Trump would win and was begging people in the Democratic presidential campaign to see reality. If you don’t see how voters believe Ds actively want to hurt them and in fact already have, you are so distanced from the voting population that your opinion is irrelevant. |
Are you blind to all the posts from D voters saying they hope everyone who didn't vote for Kamala suffers? Cheering for a recession? We can't have a conversation if you're going to live in an alternate reality. |
When the loser senate Ds give up their power by voting for this CR you will see leaders emerge in the midterms when serious people primary D incumbents. |
You are looking at this, of course, through your MAGA lens. Dems have been taking the “high road” against Republicans for too long. In 2016, Mitch McConnell refused to consider Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court, but pushed through Kavanaugh in 2020. Trump weaponizes every department he has at his disposal to settle petty disputes (taking away security from his own former Cabinet Memebers, Black Lives Plaza, etc) and is lawless with his executive orders. Democrats are tired of the high road. It’s not about wanting people to suffer - it’s about wanting people to get what they voted for. Whatever that may be. The Dems aren’t your mommies. Put on your big boy pants and accept the consequences of your actions. |
Oh please. This is delusional, bizarrely self-important twaddle. You are obviously so deep in the blue cult that you can’t function in reality. Democrats absolutely want voters to suffer, particularly poor and vulnerable ones. They made that clear in the years before the election by their actions, and have doubled down. Harris explicitly endorsed those harms, by saying she would not change a thing. And now, Democrats aren’t looking at their own policies and messaging other than to say even more explicitly: yes, we want you to suffer. We like that. - Harris voter, but one who knew she was going to lose. |
Stop, you aren't even credible any more. The Harris voters knew exactly what was at stake. |
I'm not MAGA. Just tired or hypocrisy and lies. Stop moving the goalposts. Democrats are in fact rooting for people to suffer, and they are doing so because they are angry they lost and think if people suffer, they'll realize dems were entitled to their votes after all. |
