The DA thinks Scott is guilty and no DNA testing is necessary

This isn’t how our Justice system is supposed to work. If there’s any shadows of reasonable doubt, he shouldn’t even be convicted.

Scott was convicted by the media before the trial even began

A suspicious stolen orange van was torched near Peterson’s home on the morning after his wife went missing, but police never connected it to the murder case, court documents state. Parts of the burned van contained blood and should be tested for DNA, according to LA Innocence Project.

Fladager and fellow special prosecutor David Harris filed an opposition motion on May 29 urging the judge to reject all requests from Peterson’s defense team for DNA testing. Unless ordered by the judge, the District Attorney’s Office said it will not hand over evidence from the case.

The convicted killer’s newest legal maneuver was “cobbled together,” prosecutors assert in their opposition motion. They wrote, “There is no valid new evidence. The testing for DNA would not raise a reasonability probability of a different outcome and would just subject the victims’ family to grief and hardship. The People ask this court to deny all of the defendant’s requests for DNA testing. Defendant’s resulting theory is based entirely upon conjecture and speculation.”

Peterson is seeking to DNA test 17 items: four items associated with the burned orange van found the morning after Laci went missing; 11 items found near or with Laci and Conner’s bodies; and two items from a burglary across the street from his home.

If the new evidence is cobbled together and nonsense, why is the DA too scared to let it get DNA tested?

Cops should not be allowed to lead any homicide investigations whatsoever. Bias inevitably seeps in and they dismiss anything contrary to the suspect they have in mind. That’s what happened with Scott

They determined the baby had not been in the water more than a few days. How could that have been given that it was still dated to be around 9 months of age. Why was Laci’s body far more decomposed? Where was the baby’s body all that time?

The umbilical cord and placenta was also not found. Twine around the neck and Meconium in the bowels imply the baby was born but killed immediately after. Also, Connor was full term.

It doesn’t fit with Scott killing her on the 24th when she was 7 and 1/2 months pregnant.

The bodies of Laci and Connor were found in April 2003, and her due date was Feb 10, 2003. It’s possible she lived for far longer. The marina was a shallow body of water and taking that long from Dec-April to find a body seems unlikely. If she was killed in February after the due date, that makes more sense with the circumstances and physical state of decomposition.

The Peterson search was extensive almost immediately after her disappearance. The community went into action and helicopters, boats, park rangers literally everything was used. There’s no way she was killed in December and her body couldn’t be found in the water.

I see no reason to drag Amber through the mud. She didn't know she was a mistress. She thought he was her boyfriend. He told her that he lost his wife and this would be the first Christmas without her, and that was before she was dead.

And when she did know who he was because of all the media coverage, she went to the police and the audio recordings she helped to facilitate are likely a large part of why he is in prison today.

Ahh so you trust a police patsy? Amber was a poor massage therapist and surely made a killing (no pun intended) from this charade. I don’t trust her farther than I can spit.

I’m not saying Scott is Husband of the Year. He isn’t but the entire trial weighed on the testimony of Amber Frey. I never liked or trusted Amber or thought she was being honest.

I also always believed Scott was innocent. It makes no sense why he wouldn’t confess after all these years since he was sentenced to life anyway. I don’t think he was a sociopath who would dismember and behead his wife and wrap twine around his sons neck without leaving a trace.

I think Laci was being nosy and walked in to the confront the house robbers across the street and they kidnapped her.

You think an 8 month pregnant woman is going to investigate a possible crime alone? She could walk back home and call the police?

Yes. Laci’s personality was very forward and talkative according to family. Originally, Lacis family believed Scott was innocent and the robbers did it. The first couple of weeks they were upset at Nancy Grace and others for pointing the finger at Scott.

After Amber Frey came forward, Lacis family were convinced Scott killed Laci.

This. If he turns out to be innocent, there’s a special place in hell for Sharon Rocha.

I can’t say I blame Sharon. If you learned your son in law was having an affair and told his mistress his wife is gone, you’d hate him too and think he is a suspect.

It’s media firebrands and nutjobs like Nancy Grace (who was once reprimanded as a prosecutor by the state of Georgia for withholding state evidence) and the cops’ fault for not following up on the robbers or any witnesses who said they saw Laci walking the dog.

The state’s case claims Laci died at home before 10:00am and she didn’t walk the dog that morning which is contrary to what many of the neighbors said.

An innocent man would not tell his mostess that his wife is dead or bleach his hair and flee to Mexico. I know, I know, maybe he just wanted to fish in Mexico, and he always wanted to try blond hair.

Scott is where he belongs.

Do we think he hired someone to kill her, thus the fishing trip was supposed to be an alibi? But somehow it was goofed and the hired killers turned on him and dumped her body to incriminate him?

I just don’t buy that marine life and anchors could do all of that and tie twine tightly around the baby’s neck. That all sounds like it was done before they were dumped in the bay. A 160 lb Laci would wash up on the bay if she were in one piece. The sick bastard or bastards that did this really made sure the body was cut up so it wouldn’t wash up to shore quickly.

The state shut down any forensics pathologists who said Lacis body was not butchered by marine life or water

You’re ignoring evidence that doesn’t support your theory.

What evidence? There is no evidence in this case.

The burden of proof is on the state to show evidence and all they had was Amber Frey.

The cops lied about the burglary across the street happening on December 26th. One news reporter said that would be impossible because their news truck was parked right there among others and they would’ve seen it. The burglary was very clearly on the 24th per eyewitnesses. The cops didn’t do anything with the tipsters who said they saw a heavily pregnant woman talking to some men in an argument or a woman walking a dog.

The state’sstory is Laci died before the walk as she was mopping the kitchen floor and Scott attacked her from behind. It’s really ridiculous.

The cow also moved Lacis remains to the area Scott was fishing even though that’s not where passerby discovered it.

The state lied and had to force evidence on this case on Scott because they didn’t have any.

Scott was a lying liar who lies. He had his day in court, and nobody believed his story.

Running away and dying his hair was to avoid paparazzi, the mobs swarming his house, and jail. It has nothing to do with guilt.

This country is insane when it comes to media brainwashing

The police should’ve named Amber as a suspect not an accomplice.

The entire way they went about things was wrong
