Meconium was found in the baby’s bowels. Meconium is the first stool a baby passes after birth. The autopsy couldn’t determine whether Connor was born alive and then killed
I remember those details. Also that there was a string around the baby's neck, suggesting he was born alive and quickly killed.
The umbilical cord and placenta was also not found. Twine around the neck and Meconium in the bowels imply the baby was born but killed immediately after. Also, Connor was full term. It doesn’t fit with Scott killing her on the 24th when she was 7 and 1/2 months pregnant. The bodies of Laci and Connor were found in April 2003, and her due date was Feb 10, 2003. It’s possible she lived for far longer. The marina was a shallow body of water and taking that long from Dec-April to find a body seems unlikely. If she was killed in February after the due date, that makes more sense with the circumstances and physical state of decomposition.
