The resume dress? Jcrew still sells it.

No, the Jackie O is by Black Halo. They still make multiple versions!

I love this dress. I found a very similar one at banana Republic in tropical wool. This was when BR had wool and silk clothes. I refuse to wear plastic.

Ok, well it looks nice in this picture because the model is thin and leggy. It is not a flattering dress on most women.

I'm tall and leggy and I don't think I could pull this dress off (especially not for work). First it looks like it would be too short. I also try to avoid dresses that have a wider shape because when you're thin it just looks like the fit is off. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it feels like a toddler dress? I don't think my clothes need to be tight, but something like this would make me look like a block with skinny arms and legs. I need a defined waist.
Anyway, it doesn't seem to flatter most women. The reviews show it in "real life" and I don't think anyone looks horrible but it's just not the most flattering: https://tnuck.com/products/coastal-blue-striped-jackie-dress

I agree. Though this woman actually looks really cute in it and I love the pale blue paired with red shoes:

This is incredibly unflattering. I don't understand the point of this outfit, it's so infantile. Angela Ahrendts is a great dresser, I'd use her for inspiration.

Who is Angela Ahrendts and what does she have to do with this dress or this thread?

A professional executive who knows how to dress.

Many of the women wearing it even look like they sized up so they could grow into it, just like I do when I buy my kid something full price from Janie & Jack, to ensure we get plenty of wear out if it.

LOL, so funny.

Looked like a Biden (not sure which one) was wearing this dress in blue at the end of the DNC tonight?
