It seriously looks like they found the supplier for Tuckernuck.

It's hysterical that they call it "bodycon". Maybe if you're ashamed of your body and are trying to hide it?

I wonder why tuckernuck doesn’t go after them? Could it be that tuckernuck also rips people off and that would likely come to light (more than it already is) if they sued?

Tuckernuck is most likely ordering from the same factory in China that the Amazon sellers are.

Tuckernuck isn’t a designer.

Yeah, I think they just picked it out and ordered it. It’s not IP.

My friend worked for a jewelry shop (think Lou Lou). The owners would take sketches / photos (one case they took an entire J Crew catalogue) to China and had their factory make similar pieces. They were paying $1 -$2 for a costume jewelry piece that they sold for $50. It was insane to hear about these trips and why I try to avoid buying things like Tuckernuck’s in house brand.

Ding, ding, ding. DCUM is like an advertisement for this company that nobody else has ever heard of.

Hideous, but just what I'd expect from a Republican dress company. Good background to know this is a conservative company that dresses conservative DC women. Makes so much sense now.

Wow. This is the sort of thing I'd maybe dress my 6 year old in.

Many of the women wearing it even look like they sized up so they could grow into it, just like I do when I buy my kid something full price from Janie & Jack, to ensure we get plenty of wear out if it.

What? They call it that? FFS, that is a tweed sack.

This just sounds like how retailing works, for everything?

No, the Jackie O is by Black Halo. They still make multiple versions!

Ok, well it looks nice in this picture because the model is thin and leggy. It is not a flattering dress on most women.

I'm tall and leggy and I don't think I could pull this dress off (especially not for work). First it looks like it would be too short. I also try to avoid dresses that have a wider shape because when you're thin it just looks like the fit is off. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it feels like a toddler dress? I don't think my clothes need to be tight, but something like this would make me look like a block with skinny arms and legs. I need a defined waist.
Anyway, it doesn't seem to flatter most women. The reviews show it in "real life" and I don't think anyone looks horrible but it's just not the most flattering: https://tnuck.com/products/coastal-blue-striped-jackie-dress

I agree. Though this woman actually looks really cute in it and I love the pale blue paired with red shoes:

This is incredibly unflattering. I don't understand the point of this outfit, it's so infantile. Angela Ahrendts is a great dresser, I'd use her for inspiration.

Who is Angela Ahrendts and what does she have to do with this dress or this thread?

Except for, you know, all the Democrats wearing this dress too.

"While Votta and Madeline Grayson, another co-founder, said that their biggest markets are in New York and Texas, the dress has become a common sight on the streets of D.C., especially on Capitol Hill. (D.C. is in Tuckernuck’s Top 10 markets.) A Fox News anchor, first ladies and members of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the historically Black sorority to which Vice President Harris belongs, have all worn the Jackie."
