Are there brands for tween girls where the shorts aren't super short?

Find them at either Target or Amazon.

My daughter who lives in skorts would like these, but I’m not sure what to search one. Any examples?

I drew a harder line on tops (I don’t allow anything that shows stomach at all or is low cut etc at this age).

I don’t think there is a right answer (and I don’t judge other parents by what they allow- it is hard) but IME you do have to pick your battles with things like this.

What is wrong with short tops or shorts? Teen boys like that look, and that’s totally normal.

Are we raising a generation of puritans?

Cool. My DD doesn’t need to choose her clothes based on what teen boys like. She is worth more than that.

Great! I’m sure she’ll be happy with the frock you force her to wear and she ends up a virgin at 40.

Seems like you are reinforcing the idea that teen girls should dress in a way to attract boys for sex? What if my teen girl isn’t interested in doing that? What happened to dressing for yourself and not to impress some boy?
