That’s so not true. If that’s the case, why did the people around him let him stay at his female friend’s apartment? They had to know the optics of that even if nothing was happening.

And royal staff cannot TELL the king what to do. They can only advise.

They can make sure things can be hidden, like affairs. They don’t stop them, they control the “environment”.
