WTF? She served our country. |
They want to burn it all down. |
Army, navy, marines, Air Force, coast guard etc. - those are ways people serve our country. The CIA overthrows foreign governments, tortures people, and spies on everyone - even US citizens. If you are too naive to believe they spy on you, then you’re falling for the CIA’s “least untruthful answer.” |
^ She is a placement to protect democratic federal agenda. She’s on the farm team. |
Take your meds. There should be a sanity test for voters. |
No, people aren’t persuaded because you don’t back up your claims with facts. It’s all emotions, no reason. Planned Parenthood, as wonderful as it is, is not publicizing all that it offers to women in challenging, potentially dangerous situations because they know the Dems always need abortion as a wedge issue. PP needs to expand its sm presence but it won’t! I’m frustrated as hell. My relative is at WashU (Missouri) for a residency and what you claim simply isn’t true. Med school grads are clamoring to apply there and he is beyond thrilled to be in STL and so is his OB-GYN girlfriend. |
They go for low cost of living. They won't stay in a red state. Mark my words. |
That’s nice for your relative but this is a real, documented thing that is happening. “New doctors applying to medical residency programs were likelier to avoid practicing in states with the most stringent abortion restrictions, an analysis from the Association of American Medical Colleges found. Why it matters: The drop in applications, particularly for OB-GYN residencies, could exacerbate the lack of maternal health care in those states, which already have the highest maternal mortality rates in the U.S. AAMC found that states with near-total abortion bans saw a 10.5% decrease in OB-GYN applicants who were M.D. seniors this year. https://www.axios.com/2023/04/18/abortion-ban-states-drop-student-residents |
Not withstanding the personal experience of your relative and his OB/GYN girlfriend, it actually is facts. https://hechingerreport.org/abortion-bans-complicate-medical-training-risk-worsening-obgyn-shortages/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2023/04/21/abortion-ban-states-obgyn-residency-applications/ https://www.ama-assn.org/medical-students/preparing-residency/after-dobbs-m4s-face-stark-reality-when-applying-residency The abortion bans are already terrible for the health of babies and pregnant women, and it will only get worse. |

Dear two previous posters:
I am referring to WashU in Missouri which has a very prestigious medical school and several renowned specialties. I don’t have any experience with South Dakota as in PP’s link. STL and its suburbs aren’t that “LCOL.” My relative and his gf don’t have any money concerns. They are there for the outstanding opportunities to serve others while learning under some of the finest medical professionals in the country. From your own link: “Of the 412 available fellowships in obstetrics and gynecology in the country, just seven positions went unfilled in 2023, per data from the National Resident Matching Program.” |
I'm familiar with Wash U. Your relative might be there for the education, but why would an ob/gyn stay to practice in a state where they might be put in prison for following the standard of care? |
|
“Reasonable medical judgment” is the key phrase of the statute. If necessary, there is a clinic in Granite City, IL, very close to STL, that patients can inform themselves about.

+1 We don’t want to become another TX, FL, or MO. |
+1 Just say no...to rich MAGAs trying to oppress women. |

Biberaj is going down and she will get absolutely nuked in the part of Loudoun in SD-31. If enough people split their tickets between Anderson and Perry, Perry will win.
You have to hope Biberaj isn’t getting landslided in the district if you want Perry to pull it out |
