His concession speech is SO classy
His concession speech:

“It was the honor of my lifetime to run in this race — the community came together in a special way and I’m proud of this campaign and everything we’ve achieved together. We were outspent but not outworked. We knocked on more than 100,000 doors and talked to many, many thousands of voters about their hopes, dreams, and concerns. The support of so many members of our minority communities was a particular bright spot for this campaign — people with roots all over the world who just want a better life here in America for their families, I was so appreciative and proud. I want to thank my wife, Cecilia, my son, Luca, my mother and father, and my siblings for standing with me 110 percent through this campaign and through my life. I could not feel more loved, and I can’t express how much that means to me. I also want to congratulate Russet Perry on a hard-fought race and I wish her the best of luck in representing this special place. Lessons are learned in losses, but I heard very clearly the deep desire from so many in this district for better representation from their government. This place is too important to stop fighting for. Last, I’d like to thank all the voters in Loudoun and Fauquier County who put their faith in me — that faith means the world to me and I’ll do everything in my power to repay it.”

After only 24 hours? Evidently he wasn't very committed to his candidacy.

What does he know about this place? Answer: nothing. Bet he’s already moved home.

He only lost due to racism by people like Perry.

As a Marylander, I am happy that there will be no more terrible Juan Pablo Segura ads running back to back on TV, and we can return to cheesy Mike Slocumb ads running back to back on TV. Congratulations to State Senator-elect Russet Perry for the Commonwealth!

No. He lost because Virginians don’t want any further restrictions on abortion. Period. That, and that alone, is why he lost.

I know the candidates are at the mercy of consultants but his ads never made sense to me. The ads pretty much only talked about his opponents work as a prosecutor and how much better he would do as a prosecutor. Debatable, sure, but kind of random.

Was anyone on his team aware that he was running for state senate, NOT prosecutor of Loudoun County?

Yep. Nearly all of his ads were about crime, which were sending the exact opposite message of Mike Chapman's mailers indicating he should be re-elected because crime is down.

Not a supporter but agree it was classy. He probably wants to run again once MAGA is crushed and he can claim to be part of Team Normal. I'm curious how long until his house is up for sale.

I’m guessing his wife is so relieved. Much better to be a billionaire’s wife than a politician’s wife!
