Perry v Segura

Economy - real issue, everyone is feeling the impact of inflation and stagnant wage growth and it is not getting better.

Crime - VA is not as bad as DC yet but crime is on the rise everywhere.

Education - COVID opened everyone’s eyes, the response at educational institutions to the Hammas attack on Israel shows the need to reform the educational system from K through college.

Abortion - a hypothetical for most, should not be abolished, should not exist throughout whole pregnancy except for medical reasons impacting life of mother.

Let the flamers flame.

PP is engaging in wishful thinking. Their take certainly doesn’t align with mainstream thinking in Loudoun.

Just the idea that reproductive rights aren't an economic issue. It's so bizarre.

Northern Virginia literally houses the CIA HQ.

So?

Do you have no concept of what they actually do? All the foreign governments they have secretly overthrown? All the innocent people they have tortured and murdered??

OMG.

It’s definitely an economic issue for Segura. He makes his $ through some baby tech app. No babies = no $$$

Imagine a clown like Segura having access to your personal reproductive health information. Disgusting.

I would like to know how many assassinations Perry has been involved with.

Now the Republicans are against the CIA, as well as against the FBI and the military and for Russia? What an odd world we now live in.

This election and this seat in particular will decide if women maintain their reproductive rights. Real life consequences are on the line, not some imaginary CIA operation or boogie man crimes.

Look at all the states where abortion has restrictions beyond what RvW had. All those state have see a loss in doctors doing residencies. not just OBGYN doctors but new doctors to treat your hemorrhoids, viagra refills, and prostate cancer.

In states with restrictions we see skyrocketing maternal health issues and increased infant mortality. We see MORE VIOLENCE.

For over a year now we have heard horrific stories of women forced to carry babies with no brains, women sent home until they were septic, women losing their fertility. AND, pharmacies refusing to fill birth control cause despite what GOP says, birth control is next.

I can’t believe there are still folks out there that don’t see what the GOP has become. Look at the US House. MAGA has taken over the party. Even if they want, the “moderates” have no power/are too cowardly to stop MAGA.

I know my post won’t persuade 99% of folks here but I implore you to think about the implications of voting Republican AT THIS TIME. Once the MAGA faction is squashed we can all go back arguing about marginal tax rates. For now, MAGA needs to go (even the red vested ones).

Just voted for Perry.

Does this indicate the smart money has already given up hope of Segura winning the State Senate seat?

If that’s the case, what are the implications for the legislature? I am not really familiar with the new district…. Doesn’t it lean D?

She’s not wrong.

x1 million

The VA Republicans are poised to take away women’s rights. Let’s not turn into another FL or TX.
