Biden will run again

Because he's a loon with no chance.

About 14% of voters who backed President Joe Biden in 2020 say they support Robert F. Kennedy Jr., according to results from a USA Today/Suffolk University Poll.

The antivaxxer is about as popular as scurvy!

He has been a good president, certainly better than the last one, and if Trump wins the GOP nomination, which is likely, then it will basically be a choice betweenFascism and Democracy.

Has anyone told him he is running?

He’s been saying he plans to run for months, dear.

You clearly do not get humor.

It's not really humor. Either he's mentally competent, in which case you're being dishonest for political gain. Or he's not, in which case you're punching down.

Any honest person can see he is in mental and physical decline. And why do the Dems turn a blind eye to the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct?

I'm simply unwilling to discuss any of this in isolation, particularly when such a large population of Americans is willing - even eager - to turn a blind eye to Trump whose confusion and detachment from reality was made undeniable when he started into his fantasies about how many people were at his inauguration. And his treatment of women has been horrid. Even if you say you also oppose Trump, you're going to have to explain how you're going to address whatever failings Biden has in these areas without facilitating the election of Trump who is objectively worse in every way.

Here we go. “We don’t need to have a better candidate or improve because Trump is worse. Don’t you dare step out of line and make such suggestions. We know what is best.” When is it time to suggest that tweaks are needed to the party’s direction?? There is always some existential threat or crisis (today Trump) that we’re told we need to overcome before tweaks can be made, which mean those tweaks never get made. Tomorrow never comes.

You can wish things were different, but they aren't. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Biden is good. Ditching him or undermining him in hopes of trading up to something better almost certainly guarantees that we'll end up with somebody a lot worse.

I may vote for him but in no way would it be an endorsement of the Democratic Party, which needs to go the way of the dodo along with the GOP. The other possible option for me is 3rd party and scorched earth.

RWNJ are pro Putin. LWNJ are pro Xi. Putin and Xi are pro each other. Thus RWNJ=LWNJ.

The difference tends to be that (in recent years anyway) right wing nutjobs are fully supportive of the Republican party whereas the left wing nutjobs tend to be outside of the Democratic Party because they find it to be too centrist.

RWNJ are pro Putin.

No on this. Being concerned about the war in Ukraine is not being "pro Putin."

Just remember who said that our help would depend on whether it is a 'major" or "minor' incursion.

Here we go again. Bernie bros are going to hand Trump a win again. Just so they can sleep at night. Well every person the Rs are taking rights away from at a state level realize it will now be national and won't be able to sleep for 4 years with Trump T the helm.

Are you a RWNJ?

It's truly disheartening, but not surprising since he's an egomaniac. He told Hilary he would have beat Trump in 2016, uh no. How rude to say that to someone who had millions more popular vote.

GenZ seems to be fixated on Trump. My never-in-a-million-years-will-i-be-political kid, is all up in Trump's legal woes. Also, on NYT there is a convo with GenZ liberal women on mental health and politics, and they were all following Trump's legal morass. Much more so than me or any of my friends.
They're astonished and afraid he'll run (and win) from prison.

RFK Jr. is anti-vax. Like, anti-vax before Covid was a thing. His family came out and apologized for him spreading misinformation about vaccines. Hard pass on him as president. Nope, nope. I don't want kids getting measles, thank you very much.

I haven't read about him saying that to Hillary, and it doesn't sound like the Uncle Joe we know. But he probably would have beaten Trump in 2016.

It's not just Gen Z fixated on Trump. It's a lot of us who are shocked and appalled about how the party that previously only demanded we all believe in flat earths and creationism and taking away women's rights and healthcare for as many people as possibly, could have become even more stupid and cruel. We've seen how bad it can get. Stop the bleeding, then you can work on everything else.

We're fixated on Trump because we don't have the memories of goldfish. He was terrible and Republicans loved him for it.

The uncle Joe bit was a facade and a thin one at that. He isn’t particularly nice to the press and has a history of being kind of an elitist jerk. He went to an elite high school. He has definitely enriched himself and his entire family by currying favor with unsavory people like the Chinese. And so yes, I 100% believe he was a total jerk to Hillary. He is a jerk with an Aw shucks facade that is a total load of bs.

Biden's quiet confidence versus Trump's chaotic fascism. Pretty easy choice if you ask me.

Look what do I know, but that really doesn't seem to be how most people perceive him - those who know him personally, those who've met him, those who (like me) only see his public image and form an opinion based on that. I don't doubt he is a confident guy - I don't know anyone in politics who doesn't feel pretty good about themselves, even if buried under a deep layer of self-loathing - but I can't see him being cruel in that way to Hillary.

Anyway, I don't care what he said. I think he's doing a good job as president. I'm almost 50 and I think he is the best president of my lifetime. I don't love that he's going into this at age 80 - but my concern about his age is abstract; what I see is him doing a good job. And I also don't see someone else I wish were doing it instead. I see Dems I hope are getting ready - but I don't see any who I think should swoop in today. And you couldn't pay me to vote for a Republican, at this stage of things. Esp not the ones who are eyeing the prize here. They are a disgusting bunch of boils.

Give me Dark Brandon, and please, please let me pay attention to things other than politics.

I had hopes Biden would be a uniter more in the vein of Clinto who IMO was a much better president, possibly in my roughly 50 years on this planet.
