Any honest person can see he is in mental and physical decline. And why do the Dems turn a blind eye to the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct? |
What’s wrong with California’s policies? Their biggest problems are lack of housing and homelessness, which is becoming a problem everywhere in the country. I wish every state would be more like California: protections for women’s rights and environmental policies, and access to healthcare. |
California is such a failure that it is the most productive state in the nation. For the last 40 years, I've heard about how California's liberal policies would ruin it. And yet it has an economy that dwarfs most of the rest of the country. |
I'm simply unwilling to discuss any of this in isolation, particularly when such a large population of Americans is willing - even eager - to turn a blind eye to Trump whose confusion and detachment from reality was made undeniable when he started into his fantasies about how many people were at his inauguration. And his treatment of women has been horrid. Even if you say you also oppose Trump, you're going to have to explain how you're going to address whatever failings Biden has in these areas without facilitating the election of Trump who is objectively worse in every way. |
Manchin said no to revising filibuster rules and he never pushed the issue |
Here we go. “We don’t need to have a better candidate or improve because Trump is worse. Don’t you dare step out of line and make such suggestions. We know what is best.” When is it time to suggest that tweaks are needed to the party’s direction?? There is always some existential threat or crisis (today Trump) that we’re told we need to overcome before tweaks can be made, which mean those tweaks never get made. Tomorrow never comes. |

Clearly Joe Biden is too old and needs to be replaced by a moderate unicorn candidate whom I’m not going to name and is loved by everyone and disliked by no one! |
Blind eye? They got CNN to remove the video. |
Open your wallet for reparations |
Whether Harris is VP or not - if a sitting president does or vacates the office (which is a concern even with a spry octogenarian), there is a lot of upheaval. With America so divided, it is going to be ugly. Is Harris the best candidate to steer a sinking ship?
We are stuck with Biden-Harris though plenty of us wish we had a stronger team not just one that is maybe good enough to win marginally. |
About 14% of voters who backed President Joe Biden in 2020 say they support Robert F. Kennedy Jr., according to results from a USA Today/Suffolk University Poll. |
Huh? In other threads we’re told CNN is a RW news outlet. Why would they help Biden? |
So what you are saying is advisors can lead a president astray if they wanted to, right? |
You can wish things were different, but they aren't. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Biden is good. Ditching him or undermining him in hopes of trading up to something better almost certainly guarantees that we'll end up with somebody a lot worse. |
