"Archetypes" - New Podcast from Meghan Markle

Anonymous
When I heard about Prince Harry dating and engaged to a MM, I had never heard of her or the show Suits. And when I saw a picture of her coming out in a trench coat with Harry to announce the engagement, I had no idea she was mixed race. It seems to me that SHE played the race card, not old white women. And the liberal media who wants to stoke division played the race card. Let's put the blame where it belongs. Sorry, old white women are not the scapegoat for everything.

That’s what they said about Hillary too.

I am not a huge fan of Hillary but please do not compare her to Hillary. Meghan has accomplished very little compared to Hillary. She isn't even in the same ballpark.

+1 Meghan married well, that’s it. She hopes to use her public visibility to good ends, but it’s way to soon to say whether she’ll actually accomplish anything. And a little hard to take her mansion-dwelling, celebrity-seeking self seriously. I don’t dislike her, just don’t find her impressive in any way.

LOL in the Married Well olympics, she won the gold medal. "Oh, she just married a prince. Ho hum." LOL

I find her impressive. Her life is off the scale. There are only a handful of people in her league. I hope she accomplishes a lot.
A handful of people in her league? Of hold digging? Thinking they are more important than they are? She was a DList actress.

That's better than a Z list actress, which you and I are. I would be happy to be a D list actress. Also happy to marry a prince. They are world famous, like it or not. That's a small league to be in.

You are on DCUM. DC is one of the most educated cities in the country. I don’t want to be a D list actor or marry a prince. Those are aspirations of teenage girls or is it just an aspiration of uneducated, poor people?

Parse it however you want. The point is she's done way more with her life than we have. She will go down in history now, even if she doesn't do another thing as long as she lives. You and I most likely won't.

So you're saying she shouldn't have let people know she was biracial, because she could pass for white???? The fact is she is biracial. We all learned that, whether she looked white or not the first time we laid eyes on her. What a ridiculous comment, PP!!!!

No that is not what I meant. Clearly you want to read racism in everything. I merely meant, many DO NOT look at everything through "where's the racism?!!!" glasses. She lived a good deal of her life without making such a big deal that she was biracial. Isn't that the way things are supposed to be? It wasn't until she realized she could play the victim card after her bad behavior was NOT dealing her to the British public. Do you not realize that it is offensive to black women? Let's save calling out racism for REAL racism.

You’re claiming to not have known MM is mixed race when you first saw her?

That sounds like a you problem, old white woman PP.

It's not the color of her skin that offends me . . . it's the content of her character as evidenced by her actions. Her "ambition" is not ambition that should be admired in my opinion, it stems from her narcissism.

You don’t know SHIT about Black women!!

What’s offensive to Black women is old white women pretending to know what it’s like to deal with crushing racism every damn day.

Every. Day. Of. Our. Lives.

You people make me absolutely sick. We deal with your passive racist BS every time we leave house.

MM dealt with your shit to the point of feeling suicidal. You have no idea what it’s like, yet, you feel privileged enough to speak on behalf of Black women.

My God, you people are insufferable.
