"Archetypes" - New Podcast from Meghan Markle

Honestly, I took a listen (the Deadline article embeds it here: https://deadline.com/2022/08/meghan-markle-spotify-archetypes-podcast-serena-williams-1235098086) and it's... honestly pretty good? Looks like Mariah Carey is on the lineup as well, though I can't tell who else from the voices in the beginning.

Mariah Carey is the next episode! Those are HUGE names. I think they're following a theme of each episode/guest tackling an "archetype" that's been assigned to them. So Serena is "ambitious", Mariah is "diva" and so on and so forth.

I listened to it. It's polished and good. Meghan is definitely "advancing" herself and defending herself. I was thinking Kate could never string this many sentences together.

I admire Meghan for doing something this podcast in a way that turns lemons (the way she's been trashed) into lemonade.

She also interviews professors to help dissect some of the misogyny that affects even the richest and most famous.

All she had to do is not flip out and run away and she'd still be duchessing around the UK.

I guess it's impressive the way she's working her friends for this. But her friend list is short - not sure how far she can go with this podcast.
