Part of having ambition is being smart enough to not walk away from opportunities. She gave up the platform of all platforms - being part of the RBF. She could of chosen any cause, been funded and changed the world. Now, she is mocked and barely taken seriously. She isn't being vilified, she gave up an extraordinary opportunity because she thought she was smarter than everyone else.

Ambition has nothing to do with being smart. It's a drive. MM claims women who are ambitious are vilified. PP said she could "smell her ambition a mile away." MM is right.

It was more the hubris of marching into the BRF and immediately being “shocked” that the rules also applied to her. I don’t believe it for a second.

Something tells me you aren't likely to believe anything positive about Harry or MM, but don't forget that he didn't like playing by the rules either and has long complained about being stifled by his family. For all we know, maybe the plan all along was for them to break away after getting married. You act like she's the one controlling things here, as if Harry hasn't been struggling with the constraints of royal life for much of his.

And what I will never fail to understand is the hypocrisy in how MM's ambition is viewed as compared to Kate. By all accounts, they both went after a prince and didn't really hide their ambitions about that. But Kate is seemingly content to be the quiet, unassuming English wife who is valued primarily for her ability to produce an heir--and everyone loves her for it-- while MM as the wife to the spare has been labeled as a gold-digger and ambitious (in an unflattering way) because she and Harry wanted to do more.

Kate is white, and she married a white (albeit unattractive) prince.

Meghan is Black, and she married a white prince.

These DCUM women can’t handle it. They will forever hate MM for it.

They just adopted one of the rescue beagles!! I love this couple. I don't care who hates them. I think they're exciting -- a prince, an actress, their connections to the royal family (be them as they may), the way they live their lives and the causes they think are important, and now this dog -- everything about them makes me like them. I really don't get the hate.

They're my kind of people. Not everybody's type, but my type. I wonder what they'll name their new dog!! (Of course the haters are going to say they adopted a dog as a publicity stunt!! That won't detract one bit IMO!)

People are not into William and Harry because of their looks -- it's because they were born royalty. Who cares what they look like. I thought they were both cute as kids and attractive as young men. Now neither are. I still find them interesting.

What are MM ambitions? Just to be rich and famous? It's one thing to be ambitious to be the best tennis player, like Sere na, or a singer, like Mariah, Meghan wants to be the best..... what? The best influencer? That's not very respectable which might be why she's vilified.
