McDonald's is not cheap, BTW. Seriously, what family is going in there and everyone's ordering one thing off the dollar menu? People go in and order the big meals and spend 30-40 bucks for one meal each. Give me $40 bucks and I can show you how to make some inexpenive healthy family meals from the grocery store.

Anonymous wrote:Somewhat related to the topic but I didn't realize how large the people in this country have become until the other day. My son needed a quick pair of pants so we ran to Walmart. My son is tall and lean and he wears a medium. Finding a medium was akin to searching for a unicorn. However, XL-3XL were a plenty.

Maybe because the smaller sizes sold out?

DP.. sometimes I look at the adult clothes at Costco, and their Small is more like a Medium. I don't mind now because I'm a lot older now and hit menopause so not looking for form fitting clothing, but years ago when I wanted something a bit more form fitting, I couldn't buy a shirt from Costco.

And yes, I do sometimes buy clothes from Costco. They have good deals.

OP, I declare- you're as shallow as a mud puddle!!
And uptight as well if you can't enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains. See some one that can help with self-reflection.

I was shocked at how many obese people we saw when we were in upstate NY. Massive. It's not shallow to notice that.

Jan 6th!

Shame on the so called "Patriots". They are evil Nazi White supremacists' puppets of Putin.

I am ok now with morbidly obese people dying early. Couple that no mask wearing and I have accepted this eventuality.

How do you know it wasn’t prune juice? Or Dr. Pepper for that matter?

There are some wonderful and amazingly talented, industrious, and creative people in East Tennessee who would readily show kindness to a stranger in need. It also has many beautiful areas. We love Cades Cove!
