Alexa, how many illegal migrants have entered our country since Biden was inaugurated? There have been in excess of over 5.5 million encounters (as of the end of 2022) and over 2 million have been released into the US. https://cis.org/Arthur/Bidens-Released-Least-2020522-Southwest-Border-Migrants |
Immigrants, documented or otherwise, produce more than they take. They’re generally much more industrious than native born Americans. |
Legal, traditional immigrants, yes. They wanted to become Americans. The unlawful recent invaders? Zero evidence that they produce more than they take. |
If you live in MoCo, you’ll notice that entire neighborhoods (schools, shopping centers, businesses) are quickly becoming dominated by Spanish-speaking immigrants.
You’ll also notice the MoCo police social media is routinely/daily highlighting missing Latina teens. Trafficking is a thing, and it’s happening in our backyard. You’ll also notice the mcps thread on chronic absences including the linked reports underscoring the dramatic uptick in Spanish-speaking teens chronically absent. These kids are sent here to work, not go to school. And crime: the uptick in shootings and violent crime in certain zip codes heavily dominated by immigrants is a thing. The county continues to pour money into anti-gang initiatives aimed at Spanish-speaking newcomers but they aren’t seeing results. New trend: 1st and 2nd Gen immigrants moving away from certain immigrant-dominated neighborhoods…trying to get away from the gangs, crime, problems they thought they had left behind in their home country. This is particularly problematic for parents of teen boys. They are moving up county to whiter areas. |
I assume that includes asylum seekers, most of whom will be deported in time, when their cases are heard. |
False. They pay into a system that they do not receive anything from, and they provide cheap, exploitable labor that make your purchases more cost effective, or in the alternative, make those companies more profitable. |
Here is but one resource that outlines the benefits undocumented workers bring to the US economy

70 percent drop in illegal entries since early May, according to the latest U.S. Customs and Border Protection data. You are promoting a false partisan narrative for cheap political gain. |
Don't be fooled. They are still entering. As the NY Times stated... "Overall border crossings from all nationalities, however, remain near historic highs, even with the new programs." Biden is just using a back door way to bring them in making entry appear more "orderly." https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/23/us/biden-immigration-humanitarian-parole.html |
So on the one hand immigration has no impact on US workers , and in the other hand immigration would help reduce inflation. Magical I tell you!!! |
I consider labor shortages wonderful. I have never known anything bad to come from a labor shortage, and what we are doing with our immigration policy is keeping the labor market in constant surplus.
Vernon Briggs Cornell Labor Economist The underlying truth about the immigration battle is that is is fundamentally between those with an insatiable appetite for more cheap, disposable, foreign workers, and those who embrace the social good of tight labor markets. |
Yeah, often using fake ID and social security numbers. How do you get a valid I9 to work in the country if you're here illegally. They commit even more crime after coming here illegally by next committing id fraud. |
You somehow don't get mad at the people hiring them. |

You didn't read the article. Biden is providing a "back door authorization." Through the use of a pen and phone.... not through legislation. |
