The the GOP should legislate. They haven't passed a meaningful bill all session.

Legal, traditional immigrants, yes. They wanted to become Americans.

The unlawful recent invaders? Zero evidence that they produce more than they take.

BS. They are cleaning your toilets, preparing your food when you eat out, mowing your lawn, replacing your roof, taking care of your kids. The list goes on and on. It's called cheap labor and you love it.

and to think that in years past, Democrats would have pushed for these workers to get a living wage with benefits.

Now it is IMPORT MILLIONS MORE, keep wages low. Screw the US low wage worker class (i.e. the deplorables)

Maybe they cleaning your toilets and preparing your food, but not mine. I hire legal immigrants with work permit all the time. The huge influx of Ukrainians with legal status and work permits allows you to do that. Why would you hire an undocumented person to clean your toilet?

They are working only because this administration is creating a way to claim they are "legal." They don't like the optics of hoards of migrants swimming across or walking across our unsecured border.

This administration continues to admit millions of migrants into our country. It is their goal. The question is.... why?

Millions, LOL.

No, again, right wing fantasy.

Alexa, how many illegal migrants have entered our country since Biden was inaugurated?

There have been in excess of over 5.5 million encounters (as of the end of 2022) and over 2 million have been released into the US.

70 percent drop in illegal entries since early May, according to the latest U.S. Customs and Border Protection data.

You are promoting a false partisan narrative for cheap political gain.

Don't be fooled. They are still entering. As the NY Times stated...

"Overall border crossings from all nationalities, however, remain near historic highs, even with the new programs."

Biden is just using a back door way to bring them in making entry appear more "orderly."

“since the start of the Biden administration”

Zero evidence that our recent invaders are self-supporting. Tons of evidence, however, that we the taxpayers are supporting them.

That’s not what the PP wrote. Either you’re dumb/bad at reading or you’re arguing in bad faith. The PP said this is the reality and you enjoy it. And if you’re voting Republican, you do. Republicans hate workers rights, hate unions/collective bargaining, hate minimum wages (though the idea of living wages makes them break out in hives). You love everything about illegal immigration and you don’t want anything to change because it is currently the hatred that powers you.

Why should we trust a far right wing, anti-immigrant group’s numbers?

You can do simple arithmetic, right?
Here is the Border Patrol's report on encounters for each year....
https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/cbp-enforcement-statistics
It is worse than indicated above. Total encounters under Biden is about 6.5 million.

The record number of immigrants released from the southern border into the interior of the United States on President Joe Biden's watch have little chance of removal, immigration policy experts told the Washington Examiner.

An estimated 2 million immigrants are awaiting future immigration court dates since Biden took office, and the likelihood that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers will remove them is virtually nonexistent, experts on various sides of the issue said.

The L-1 visa program has no numerical caps and no wage standards. It’s defined as an intra-company visa. If Microsoft Seattle wants to bring in workers from Microsoft Bangalore, it uses the L-1 visa, and it can continue to pay the Indian workers the salary they were paid in the Bangalore office!

Even worse, these ordinary workers are deemed “executives/managers” so that affords them special privileges if being sponsored for employment-based Green Cards: eligibility to apply for the Einstein Green Card which exempts them from labor certification process.

Democrats used to be the party of labor. Now they are the party of urban elites.

No US worker should ever vote democrat today

But Biden could change this but he refuses and continues to expand immigration

How does Israel control its borders so effectively?

What’s their secret?

Uh, maybe trying to compare a country that's roughly the geographic size of Maryland to the whole of the U.S. is stupid?

https://www.mylifeelsewhere.com/country-size-comparison/united-states/israel

Israel has an inconsequential geography compared to the U.S. but has military budget of $22 billion as well as $3.8 billion in foreign assistance the U.S.

The 2022 U.S. President's budget includes $1.2 billion for the entirety of the U.S. for border infrastructure.

It's not hard to google these things. Try doing some research before spouting off ignorance next time.

Why even respond to someone so stupid?! He is clearly so full of hatred that he is blind to plain logic and reason. At this point, it’s a religion with conservatives. They bought into the myth.
