I think it's quite remarkable that four classmates, who play together on the same team, want to serve this great nation.
I could care less if these boys have stellar careers on the Navy lacrosse team. I truly admire these boys committment to service and this is what should be recognized, not whether or not one of these boys becomes a collegiate all American. Congrats to these young men on their decision and best of luck to them. |
| Agree! Sorry if I missed this, but are the Landon dudes going to Navy Prep first? I saw something in the W Post that seemed to suggest so. |
| Another former Landon Bear, Tom Evans, just finished his plebe year at USNA. He is a likely contender for a starting spot on the Navy close defense. That is a great pipeline for Landon and USNA. |
| Is it worth going to showcase tournaments if you are only a rising sophomore? |
| Yes if there are schools attending that your kid is interested in. Otherwise a waste of money |
About 80% of Navy's team goes to NAPS first, so odds are pretty good these guys will too. |
| Anybody who can play for John Tillman at U.Md should take that offer. What a class act. |
Agreed. Great job Terps! Are any members of the current team from the DMV? |
Isaiah Davis-Allen from the IAC (SSSAS) was a major contributor for the Terps. There could be other guys but he was one of the top ssdms in the country. |
| Washington player of the year from Gonzaga two years ago but he doesn't play yet. Dylan Matz from nova starts and had 2 goals today. They have the Churchill kid with all the state records who may play more next year. |
He was first team all American |

4 Terps 1st team all Americans
Davis Allen - Saint Stephens Tim Muller-NY Matt Rambo-philly Conner Kelly- Connecticut , |

Good Grief.
To win both men's and women's lax national championships is just amazing. I can smell the old bay , thrashers fries and chaps pit beef in the air!! |
Maryland short-stick defensive midfielder Isaiah Davis-Allen has been awarded the 2017 Senior CLASS Award in men’s lacrosse, the school announced Thursday. This marks just the second time the national award has been won by a Maryland student-athlete, the other being Juan Dixon in men’s basketball back in 2002. http://www.umterps.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=29700&ATCLID=211607096 There are other great character stories about him if you google his name. |
