I’m sorry but this is laughable. When is the last time you went to the national zoo? They don’t even man the parking lots anymore much less pay people to check “timed tickets” |
hard agree.. righteous people do odd things when they are under stress. BB had the option to tell AP to grab the kid and get out of the house and call 911. instead of having her call 911, He directs AP to the gunsafe to get a second gun? no way. I can't fathom what the initial plan was. |
I think you misunderstood - I don't care what the defense lawyer is saying because I don't believe it's true. He's telling some version of whatever the au pair has told him. I was positing other ways the story might have played out in which JR was not lured there specifically to be the scapegoat. Maybe we will learn that it was all planned in advance and he was brought there for that purpose, but there are other possible scenarios where he and CB are both killed by the au pair and/or BB, but it was more a crime of opportunity than planning. |
NP but the last time I went to the zoo was in January. Not sure what has changed since then, but they were absolutely checking entry passes then. It's still on their website. https://secure.nationalzoo.si.edu/events#tn-events-calendar-view-month |
NP. I went to the zoo in may and needed a pre-purchased parking pass, which was checked. Not sure how much has changed since then but the lots were almost full by 9:30. I’m not defending any part of their story but merely stating zoo facts. |
If I needed my au pair to be out of the house for something, I would absolutely make plans for her to take my children somewhere. Maybe the child was in a 3 day a week preschool. |
Are you sure you're a psychology major, and not a fiction writer? |
BBs fam has entered the room. 😂 |
Sorry if that same across as rude but I’ve been multiple times in the last couple years and they are certainly not checking timed passes. Also, there is plenty of street parking available so a ticket or pass isn’t fully required to visit the zoo. And on top of it all, there is the metro |
Oh god, proof that internet randos have entered this thread and not local people. There is no such thing as the Washington National Zoo. There is the Smithsonian National Zoo, and it does, in fact, require timed entry tickets. Something you would know if you lived in the area. You would ALSO know that it takes at least 45 minutes if not an hour to get from Herndon to Cleveland Park. And finally, if you had little kids, 7:40am is like late morning for them, LOL. |
I was thinking about that. Also noticing random off topics to push this thread down. Like the dishwasher one. Made no sense. Just buy a new one. Stinks of defense tactic trying to silence this thread. This thread ain’t going away! We all want justice. |
OMG. Someone who lives in Herndon and has a foreign au pair with four year old child that are making the long drive in to the city to go to the zoo is absolutely going to buy a parking pass and sign up for the free timed entry tickets to be 100% sure their kid can go to the zoo. They're not just going to say "end, wing it, I'm sure you'll get in, whatevs!". Why is this so difficult for you to understand??? |
No, I think he's a murderer, but I'm also not going to believe everything written on this thread because I've been here long enough to know that people make shit up and this reads like it's fake. |
+1 good lord. I mean none of us believe the zoo story and we’re not standing up for the AP. BUT know your facts before debunking. |
Yes totally makes sense to drive into dc, to the zoo, in the middle of winter and on a school day, when this child was expected to be in class at 9am |
