This timeline makes no sense at all. If the first 911 call came around 7:45am, what time did the Aupair leave the house with the child? before 7 am? in the middle of winter, taking a 4 year old to the zoo at this time? Firstly, I can't believe that this child's mother had this brilliant idea, so she could be with another man and fulfill a sexual fantasy. And why did the Aupair call her husband when she saw a strange car instead of calling CB? And why did the husband drive back from work so quickly, instead of calling his wife first and asking what was going on? None of these facts make sense. anything
“Banfield had gotten Magalhaes tickets to take Banfield’s 4-year-old child to the zoo”. Washington National Zoo does not require a ticket. So we are left with Leesburg and Reston, both of which are closer in proximity to the home but do not open until after 9am. Still WAY too early to have left for. Also, their daughter had preschool that day. Why would they have sent her to the zoo on a school day (which they paid for) when she could have gone to the zoo on the weekend?
Oh god, proof that internet randos have entered this thread and not local people. There is no such thing as the Washington National Zoo. There is the Smithsonian National Zoo, and it does, in fact, require timed entry tickets. Something you would know if you lived in the area. You would ALSO know that it takes at least 45 minutes if not an hour to get from Herndon to Cleveland Park. And finally, if you had little kids, 7:40am is like late morning for them, LOL.
