This timeline makes no sense at all. If the first 911 call came around 7:45am, what time did the Aupair leave the house with the child? before 7 am? in the middle of winter, taking a 4 year old to the zoo at this time? Firstly, I can't believe that this child's mother had this brilliant idea, so she could be with another man and fulfill a sexual fantasy. And why did the Aupair call her husband when she saw a strange car instead of calling CB? And why did the husband drive back from work so quickly, instead of calling his wife first and asking what was going on? None of these facts make sense. anything |
Are you seriously victim blaming Christine here? |
DP. I don't think PP is blaming CB.
PP is just stating that it would be unlikely for the mother to make such a plan. |
Yes, that’s exactly what I meant. It’s unlike, but of course it doesn’t matter if she did. I do believe both CB and JR are victims. |
Every single word of her story sounds made up. First you conveniently “forget” the kid’s lunch and have to come back home to get it….even though they sell food at the zoo. Then you see a sus car in the driveway, but continue inside anyway. With a 4 year old. Then your special agent boyfriend can’t kill JR himself, so you have to do it. Because everyone knows that an au pair is a much better shot than a special agent. Then, you just innocently get a new passport because, duh, who doesn’t bring their passport to a zoo these days. And then…and this is the best part…you move into CB’s bedroom and openly continue your relationship with her husband, and think it’s perfectly normal. Good luck with that story Mr Defense Lawyer! |
Exactly. BB, with trained firearm experience, recognizes someone as a lethal threat and acts accordingly, but needs assistance from a 23 yo with no firearm experience who has to go retrieve a securely stored weapon to finish the job? Ludicrous. |
You know what's creepy to me? BB and his lawyer are probably reading this forum to come up with defense strategies. |
“Banfield had gotten Magalhaes tickets to take Banfield’s 4-year-old child to the zoo”. Washington National Zoo does not require a ticket. So we are left with Leesburg and Reston, both of which are closer in proximity to the home but do not open until after 9am. Still WAY too early to have left for. Also, their daughter had preschool that day. Why would they have sent her to the zoo on a school day (which they paid for) when she could have gone to the zoo on the weekend? |
The national zoo actually does require a timed entry ticket. |
Sickening but true. Silence in solidarity for Christine and Joe. We can vent and speculate as much as we want but the truth will come out. Let’s not give them the upper hand. If you have relevant information, get in touch with detectives. Utilize the anonymous tip line if you don’t feel comfortable reaching out directly. |
No, it doesn’t. At most it requires you to pay for parking. Entry is free. |
Yes, free but you have to get a pass. It’s called timed entry. https://secure.nationalzoo.si.edu/events?_gl=1*10533tt*_ga*MTIyMjA1MzYzMC4xNjk4NDYxMjQw*_ga_FZ22Y9JDR2*MTY5ODQ2MTI0MC4xLjAuMTY5ODQ2MTI0MC4wLjAuMA..&_ga=2.204211408.1305292477.1698461240-1222053630.1698461240 |
From the zoo website:
“ The Zoo is free, but Entry Passes are required for all guests, including infants.” |
https://nationalzoo.si.edu/visit
Timed entry passes required since covid for National Zoo in DC. |
The story is completely bs
Came up now instead of 7 months ago when neither au pair or husband had a statement to Le! |
