I'm not making this up. It's in the links reporting what was said in court today on AP's behalf. This is her defense. She may think that if she sticks to this story that she can get off with a not guilty for self defense. She may not, in fact, turn on BB if she thinks they both can walk.

IF she does turn on BB, I fully expect it to come with a full serving of "he was controlling me and I had no way to escape -- he MADE ME DO IT!" But, given the way they have woven her defense story, she might think she can convince enough jurors to get off free.[/quote]

I think you misunderstood - I don't care what the defense lawyer is saying because I don't believe it's true.  He's telling some version of whatever the au pair has told him. I was positing other ways the story might have played out in which JR was not lured there specifically to be the scapegoat.  Maybe we will learn that it was all planned in advance and he was brought there for that purpose, but there are other possible scenarios where he and CB are both killed by the au pair and/or BB, but it was more a crime of opportunity than planning.[/quote]
