An email from Tutor Me Education says, "At this time, all MCPS tutoring will conclude on May 31, 2023."

True, but it came as a surprise to tutors and families who already had planned their summer. Even if MCPS starts tutoring again from September 2023, I don't know tutors will return after this.

Although it is a very large tutoring company, many of these tutors are specifically assigned to MCPS students. They will just get reassigned to other school districts/students and may not come back to teach MCPS kids. Some tutors were really good.

That makes no sense they'd send it to the tutors and not parents.

I don't they pay much, maybe $20 an hour. We will try to work with some tutors directly.
