| Good for Purdue! |
| My son and I took a tour a couple weeks ago and they told us then. I think it's the right decision. |
| Bravo Purdue! |
| MIT, Georgia Tech, Purdue, serious schools are coming back to test required. |
| More schools should do so. Anyone who wants to attend a selective college has already taken rigorous courses and many timed tests. The SAT or ACT is not too much to ask of an applicant. |
| Curious if we will see some more announcements over next few weeks so juniors have sufficient notice. |
UVA said they would announce in January. |
unfortunately In the us, serious schools aren’t respected in society |
What a silly comment. People are falling all over themselves to get into top schools. How can you say the US does not respect Serious schools? MIT, Stanford, CalTech not serious enough for you? |
+1/ End the insanity |
| How many of the previous posters on this thread are NOT privileged? Let me guess: none. |
Please define "privileged?" |
| Privileged now, certainly not privileged in 1992 when I took the SAT. |
