I think they are going to have an episode about each kid's future - next week may be a blend, but I am sure we will get a Randall and Kevin episode too. |
I don't see Sophie cheating with Kevin. I just can't get there. |
Too obvious. They are trying to throw us off. |
We would need a new season for that! Too many loose ends to cover with the big 3 as it is. |
|
When Toby said he would move back, and all Kate said was "okay" wow did we see just how entirely selfish and self centered she is.
The engagement with the kids there was sweet. Why did they make Elijah look so bad at the engagement party? |
| The scene where Toby is packing things up and Kate is sitting there entertaining the kids say it all. Her world was the kids and Toby didn’t fit in and she didn’t care about Toby. AND she should have taken the kids out of the house while he packed. |
I think the writers have written themselves into a corner. At this point no-one has come close to his love for Sophie, and it will be weird if he ends up with her and weird if he doesn't. Given the Katoby writing, I am not optimistic this will be handled well either way. |
Wasn't he just standing there, being his usual schlubby self? |
I thought Kate pointing out that Sophie was married was the red herring. |
No mentions of Zoe. Is it possible or Kate invites her to the wedding and they reconnect? The only reason they split up was he wanted kids and she didn’t. Now he has kids and she doesn’t need to be a parent to them. Plus he ran into her in LA working on her movie so she could be out there full time. |
Well she'd need to stepparent 50% of the time so I think this is a definite no. |
| Considering how the writers have handled Kate’s relationship with Phillip, I bet Kevin ends up with a new character we haven’t yet seen. We won’t have the benefit of seeing their relationship progress (just as we haven’t with Kate and Phillip) but we’ll just be expected to understand that Kevin got his happily ever after, too. |
Agree with that! I was a little horrified by that scene. Also, when Toby says he's taking the LA job and Kate responds, okay: She wasn't thrilled. She likes being on her own with the kids to herself. That was NOT welcome news to her, so the best she could muster was a neutral "okay." Felt really bad for Toby. And that crappy little windowless office at his new job. He made all the sacrifices. I can't think of a single thing she did to save the marriage. Someone on reddit said that Kate is attracted to broken men, which you could see when she lit up toward Phillip after he told his sob story about the dead wife and why she doesn't like new Toby-not-a-coping-mechanism. It's an interesting theory. If true, then she would have perceived more of Jack's dysfunction than she is consciously aware of. She thinks of him as the perfect dad and husband, but some part of her brain knows otherwise. |
+1. He never looks great. |
| Lol at Madison taking pics of Kevin's hookup's clothes/bra. Wtf? |
