Fair points. Current team is lackluster.

Current team has won six straight, including wins vs Georgetown Visitation and Milton

GC doesn’t look particularly great this year but may have enough to beat SJC. That game could be tight.

GC is hoping to have two of their better offensive players return in a few weeks.

GC has been a lot of “me” ball this season and forcing to goal leading to bad shots being taken and lots of dumb turnovers. Don’t know if it’s girls trying to be the top dog with their top offensive player out injured and their superstar last year now at Northwestern. If they realize that doesn’t win games and need to play smart, they will be a solid team again.

Unless you are one of their parents, does your one/two games really qualify you to have any coherent take?

Even WCAC's managed a win against Milton. National level talent which can't even make it to the ISL title game. Battlefield wants next.

It's coaching for one. But also, the local talent from Capital who get recruited to the "top" programs rarely see much playing time. They may be good for this area, but they just don't get to the level of Baltimore, Philly, NY talent.

We have hobbies

Apparently the main one is being a smartass for no reason. Maybe you shouldn’t have slept in this morning and went to mass instead…

If anyone went to Mass or church or those who thought about it, hopefully they would think twice before posting negative messages regarding any other programs and more importantly negative messages about the play of sensitive, impressionable young athletes, who whether you think that they read these messages or not, many do. So please stop posting these many tines uniformed and sometimes personal and judgemental posts.

Parents, I hope you have all done better than raising student-athletes who would spend one single second on this board. How ridiculous.

Totally agree. Coaching is so thankless. People who are crapping on coaches suck. Don’t like your kids coach, go find a new program. Coaching is one step away from volunteering. Thank you coaches. Please don’t listen to the cra cra haters.

Wait, you are tracking the playing time of the hundreds of college players who used to play for the many clubs across the mid Atlantic? Impressive.

It's mainly just 1 player that was kept in check last year by the seniors. Maybe she is mad she didn't get named captain...

You misspelled Philly. Correct spelling is "Massachusetts"

No fan of GC, although I respect Coach H and what he's achieved there. I think the takes above on GC's season and relative strength are way off base.

Look, they went undefeated last year, challenged themselves with a very difficult out of conference schedule, and have won 6 straight. They beat Visi and Milton (which other top DC area teams failed to do).

From my perspective, they remain the top team in the DC area until someone beats them. The only team remaining on their schedule that has a chance to do that appears to be Potomac. It's too bad they don't play SR or SSSAS--or have a WCAC vs ISL Super Bowl, but it seems like they have earned some respect. Potomac game will be a good test.

Can we make that a yearly game? At the end of the season have the WCAC and ISL winners play each other in a bowl game? Maybe PopTarts would sponsor?
