Bags of books?

Meh, maybe she wants to marry an actual Harvard graduate.

I'm guessing they outsourced quite a bit. But even so, the toll on a marriage of constantly trying to wage a battle for fairness must be exhausting and sap all your reserves of love. I mean -- it took her years to get him to cede his stranglehold on the annual report for the foundation. The foundation that had her name on it.

I like Melinda. I’ve always liked her interviews and women’s health rights advocacy. I think she is a normal and Bill is a workaholic ahole in the marriage and they probably just wanted to wait until the kids got older.

Funny how in interviews she emphasized how he treated her well and saw her as an equal.

Her recent behavior to deny poor people around the world access to cheap/free vaccine for COVID is amoral. She maybe wasn't an a-hole before she met Bill but it is probably hard to not become one yourself if you spend decades with one.

I'm also curious if this indicates that an Epstein revelation may be forthcoming soon.

-To be left alone
-To be with someone else
-Gay

What other scenarios?

Trans? Like former Bruce?

At 56 she wants to marry a Puerto Rican fitness instructor.

She started banging her CEO. I guarantee she's just jealous of Jobs' widow and Bezos's ex, how they are blowing their husbands' billions, and she craves those same sort of PR puff pieces.

...or these high-powered divorces are just some scheme for the couples to dump tens of billions in stock and avoid Biden's tax raises.

Wait, isn't Job's widow banging the former mayor of DC? Or is that thing also over by now?

There is no shortage of young women young enough to be his granddaughter who want money.

Blech. But I guess you’re right. Imagine suffering through that.

Well, hon, Anna Nicole Smith suffered through an 85-year-old oil baron but you're, probably, too young to remember that.

I think it’s weird when the elderly divorce. What’s the point?

I wonder if it just got to a point where she's 56 and wants to live a little and he at 65 STILL wants to work at whatever project he's throwing himself into 24-7. Like it sounds like for most of the marriage for her it was about raising the kids but now that the kids are grown (youngest is 18), maybe she wants to spend time with her husband and he's still wanting to work at the foundation.

Yes but doesn't billions of dollars give you the freedom to do whatever you want?! I guess maybe she wanted to remarry.

Yeah she can do what she wants -- travel etc. but I wonder if it's about -- I want to do these things for the next few decades with my partner but my partner would rather be working than "wasting time" hanging out.

doesn't she have, I don't know, friends? Kids?
Granted I am divorced but I would never divorce over "not enough time together". I know it's none of my business, just sounds like you'd be self sufficient enough at 56?

Freedom from constant irritation.

Maybe he grew out of that, maybe he wants to make the world a better place, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he is difficult to live with.

Bingo. He is probably insufferable.
