There is no shortage of young women young enough to be his granddaughter who want money. |
It’s not sad, it is hilarious! |
One of them wants to be officially dating someone else. |
Blech. But I guess you’re right. Imagine suffering through that. |
My guess is she's been itching to throw her husband's billions around like Lauren Powell Jobs and McKenzie Bezos have been doing, but Bill won't let her because of The Gates Foundation and optics. By the end of the year she will make a splashy media purchase (ex. the Chicago Tribune is for sale) and start her own new tax-dodging foundation with lean-in girl power and other virtue-signaling missions.
|
Why would you do that? Life is short, but life is also loooooong. I’m willing to bet he literally pays attention to NO ONE in his family. I’m sure she thought he would be at least slightly interested in the kids, and when that failed, she probably just decided to stick it out until the youngest left. |
She will not care. |
| Did not see this coming, and weirdly sadder about this one than I usually am about this stuff. |
I agree this is a likely scenario. Not easy living with a self-focused "genius." Maybe she met someone who actually pays attention to her. Maybe he wants to date again. Maybe all of the above. |
| Zero Fs given |
| I notice in the linked article that they talked about doing the dishes together. In an article about the Bezos' marriage, there was talk of him being sexy doing the dishes. I will now take this as code for, "My life is boring and I can't wait to get divorced!" |
| Why is Melania still with Donald Trump? Really stumped by that one. |
Yeah I'm sure both couples did a lot of their own dishes.
|
She’s waiting for him to choke on a pretzel. |
|
I’m surprised. I was a little sad at first, but at the same time, as someone who has been divorced (and MUCH happier than I was in my marriage), I say, good for her. Life is too short to stay in a miserable or even “just content” marriage.
Divorce doesn’t have to suck, or be sad, as long as you divorce well (not in terms of assets, but maturity, not going after each other, etc.). |
