“They found two high capacity semiautomatic firearms on him.” No they didn’t. They found two empty magazines. Do you even know what a semiautomatic firearm is? Oh, and he’s already been released and told to “stay out of town.” |
No. No, they weren't. No. |
Yes, yes they were. |
Ok, let us explain. Criminals love to have a cover that is distracting the police, like a big protest maybe. So when that is happening, the criminals (who are not the protesters) take advantage of the situation and get their liquor and meds free. |
Protecting the Lincoln Memorial from people in shorts and T-shirts. That was so embarrassing. They even looked embarrassed, as far as you could tell with all of the body armor etc. https://twitter.com/MarthaRaddatz/status/1267972382590984195 |
Gee, why would he have magazines on him? What are magazines used for? But keep making excuses. |
Keep telling yourself that, one day you might believe it. |
| I don’t want them here, but all the hype about this is a bit absurd. They are obviously not who was vandalizing and looting everything in sight this spring/summer. Hope they don’t set off another round of five finger CVS discounts. |
There is literally footage of these people vandalizing from just a few weeks ago. |
So glad others see the hypocrisy. I feel like I’m losing my mind. Wasn’t there total hysteria about the national guard being called up when the city was legitimately being looted???! Can we just not do this on either side, please. |
Whose National Guard being called up by whom? |
I agree. Bowser should have called up the DC National Guard to protect downtown buildings from vandalism, businesses from looting, includings but not limited to liquor stores and CVS. Also eyeglass and every other kind of store. I don't care who was "behind it"-the businesses and property should have been well protected. I am glad there were some protecting federal properties. I'm sure they were embarrassed they couldn't spread out and do more due to resistance from city leaders. And I'm glad that Bowser has come to her senses and called up National Guard; she should do so for any potential for prolonged vandalism--not pick and choose sides. |
Would you like your Guardsmen to wear shorts and T shirts as well? That's good as they are not allowed to wear body armor tomorrow. I'm sure they appreciate that. |

The main difference between BLM and the current crazies gathering in DC to try and subvert the Constitutional process are the current ones have admitted, on social media and other public forums, to attempting to Smuggle guns and weapons into DC, to hang and/or kill anyone who is against Trump, and in fact actively sought out innocent bystanders to assault the last time they were in town (it’s on record)
None of that happened during the BLM protests. Personally, while I think looting and destruction of property is horrible it’s certainly preferable to murder and physical violence against anyone. |
The concern tomorrow isn't about vandalism, as I'm sure you know. People don't talk about the weapons they're planning to bring (illegally) when the goal is breaking windows, spray-painting walls, and taking things from liquor stores and CVSes. |
