Why is your cat currently mad at you?

I woke her up from her nap because she was being so gosh darn cute that I had to smoosh her little face. She was not happy.

I walked into the kitchen without giving her food. Never mind that she’s a bit overweight and I just fed her. She cried so plaintively that my mother who was on the phone with me commented about it. You’d think I was starving her!

I ran out of wet cat food this morning! She looked at the dry food like it was appalling. Then she cheered up when I gave her turkey deli meat.

My neighbor's dog barked (townhome with thin walls) and spooked him. It's my fault.

For allowing the kids to be home for 8 months and counting. They miss their quiet school days.

For moving my work-from-home desk into the room where they have been hiding from the kids and the noise.

For not simultaneously getting up to turn the water on the the bathroom sink for one cat to drink while also allowing another cat to lie on my chest and rub her face repeatedly on my face.

Little do they know they're missing out on home-cooked meals and human food! Didn't know that was a thing! We don't even do wet cat food Might need to look into that...

I stopped him from chewing on a cord when he was being obnoxious to get my attention.

She ran outside while I carried in heavy bags of groceries. I did not notice so she was locked outside 3 hours because she refuses to ask to be let in. We are supposed to know she wants to come in.

Because I said “no” to a second hour of playing fetch

I wouldn't let her eat cheese off of my plate.

She tried to climb in the bathtub with me. She was not happy to discover that it was full of water. Silly human, sitting in a pool of water?!?

The electric blanket where he was sleeping turned off mid nap. The warm blanket wasn't as warm.

Because he's awake.

Although, for all I know, he hates me in his sleep, too.

He’s trying to help in the kitchen, and he’s mad I won’t let him on the counter or inspect everything.

I keep opening random cabinets for him to inspect instead, but he’s glaring at me for attempting to pacify him.

Because I rescued him from possible dog hell this morning. He is 15 and hasn't even tried to jump over the fence to the yard with the scary dog next door for at least 5 years. He normally sits dociley in our front yard. I let him out this morning and as I was working at my computer suddenly saw him out the window at the far corner of the neighbor's yard.

Luckily, I was able to scoop him up before the ironically named dog Sunshine came bounding out to chew him to bits. But now my cat is pissed that I ruined his adventure and giving me the evil eye.

I fed her when she woke me up at 4 am. But I did not referred her at the normal meal time of 5 am.
