Why is your cat currently mad at you?

Had coffee ice cream in my bowl. He likes strawberry and was mad he got up from his nap to come investigate FOR NOTHING.

We had new countertops put in. So they are new, smell different, plus there were strangers in the house.

They were Doubly pissed b/c we confined them to the basement (which is a bar/tv/comfortable room - not some horror movie cellar) so they could not get outside.

We went away for two nights. When I came back, cat had knocked a clock off the wall and shattered it and knocked my instapot lid off the top of my cabinets (and it cracked). Angry kitty!

I'm making too much noise, and they can't sleep.

Yet, cat chose to follow me into the room because she wants to be near me.

Then if I go to another place in the house to make noise so she can sleep in peace in quiet, she'll follow me and be mad that I'm making too much ruckus.

Rinse, repeat.

We introduced two kittens to the household. The old cats' lives are now turned so upside down that they must take to the closet.

I'm a PP on this thread. My cat decided yesterday he wanted to sleep in the bathtub. He was very upset when I moved him from the bathtub and used the shower this morning. First he sat on the bathmat and meowed, then sat next to the end of the shower curtain and meowed louder, then stuck his face inside the shower curtain and basically started screaming at me. I am sure he was in there all day as he came out of the bathroom when I came home from work.
Now he's decided to sleep on a towel in the living room.

I didn't give him food in a second bowl right beside his full regular bowl.

The water level in the tall plastic cup my cat likes to drink from (and it's only this ONE cup, no others, nor a bowl) is down about a half inch from the top. She especially likes to meow at a decibel level higher than cicadas for it to be filled to the tippy top while I'm in work Zoom meetings.

They were mad we left town. They had not one but TWO cat sitters to ensure all needs where meet. But they were nonetheless mad as hell that we left. Then they discovered the blue light on the blink cameras. And they decided we were caught in the cameras and we must be saved (they turn on when we watch them). RIP DEAR BLINK CAMERAS.

He stepped on some duct tape and I can’t cut it off his long toe hair until DH gets home to help.

In related news, I’m currently mad at DH because he was breaking down boxes yesterday and he obviously missed a piece.

My cat has loved this because every time I get a drink of water she thinks she will get a snack. And TBH, she’s correct 85% of the time because she meows loudly if I try to exit the kitchen without her treat. If I need to get back to Zoom, she’s getting that snack.

My cat is angry that I will not watch him while he eats tonight. I simply do not have time to watch him eat every meal. I am going to pay one way or the other for this transgression.

My cats are devastated that our kids went back to in person school and are following me around the house like I’m the pied piper.
