Have you even had the opportunity to have an affair you didn't seek out?

I actually prefer work from home because he's a very desirable guy (well. In my opinion!)

In all honesty, a man should never be alone with somebody else's kid or another woman (married or not).

Accusations can be made. For the latter, no need to put yourself near temptation. Opportunity is a big part of it.

I will add--emails and texts should not be made to other opposite sex spouses without copying the other spouse.

These are the unspoken rules most people married 20, 30, 40+ years naturally employ. And, no husband is going over to a neighbor woman's house alone w/ nobody else in her house to 'fix her sink' or 'build furniture' like in the troll post.

How on earth would you survive in the corporate world with this weird rule.

Why do you think he hasn't cheated? Why wouldn't he? Sex is fun and you'd never find out.

Same reason he doesn’t think I’ve cheated. We have a good marriage. Do you?

Men and women are different, and you're naive.

NP - some people do have good marriages.

1. I thought I did too...

2. Someone can have a good marriage and still bone a stranger at a work conference.

He once picked me up from hospital after a car crash and the otherwise motherly nurse suddenly went all coquettish when he came in the room. I know for a fact that a parent from school stopped him in the street and asked if he'd like to have sex with her.

He never had an affair was totally in love with my mother and was quite disturbed by all the attention he got.

He was a very handsome man and had an air of not being interested (which he wasn't) and I am sure that attracted a lot of women.

You. Do. Not. Know. This!

So many posts like this, and I just don't get it. No one knows about my affair, least of all my children!

Your children know. Unless they are preverbal.

They know what I do on my lunch break? Sure.

Definitely, most certainly, 100% false.

Married twice. In both marriages, her younger sister offered. Didn't take them up on it either time.

My wife was screwing around with an affair with a coworker.

I got the boo hoo I’m sorry.

Sorry you got caught or sorry it didn’t last longer.

When things are rough in my marriage, yes it's hard to not reciprocate but there's always that voice in the back of my mind that says not a good idea. I also haven't given up on my marriage but I can see it going differently if I have. Marriage is hard and it requires a commitment and a promise to yourself that you will not jeopardize your marriage even if you want to bail out of it.

I don’t think the OP is polling the women. Women always have unsolicited opportunities. You are not unique.

Ive had a few opportunities but never took advantage. At times, I was even unaware of what was going on. Here is one example. Back when I was younger (and married), a hot co worker
Lady offered to pick me up at the hotel I was staying to get to the office in the morning. At end of the day she drove me back to the hotel, came into my room and layed down on the bed and stretched out. She then suggested we order room service. I declined as I wanted to check out the local restaurant scene and went out to dinner with her instead. She dropped me back at the hotel. Nothing happened and I thought nothing of it. When I returned to my home office later in the week the guys told me I was a fool not to bang her.
