These GA parents here are so caught up in themselves that they can't see the forest for the trees.
The GA is a fine league and is slightly more competitive than the National League. It is not the ECNL and neither was the DA. Again, teams were fleeing the DA long before anyone got word that the DA would collapse. |

I admitted ECNL is a better league but my kid needs Power 5 exposure. Please point me to a local Champions League level club/team that will guarantee that. Anyone can go to a ID Camp. |

I asked about local clubs my DD can play for. This list is a useful as tits on a tomcat. You must seriously be a hired ECNL Marketing person. You’ve sold me on the superiority of the league. Now sell me the superiority of DMV clubs who are consistently in Champions League showcase tier games. If you can’t name a local club that my kid can play at that can meet these standards then go away. I can only play for a team within the DMV. The quality of teams in the DMV are all that matter. If my ECNL team can reach the Champions League tier then how is the showcase really better? If my ECNL team can’t qualify for even the North American tier what Power 5 schools are walking those fields or the “Showcase” or “Open Cup” tier. Frankly, beyond the top 50 or so clubs the teams all get pretty average pretty quick. I would argue the separation starts after the top ten nationally. So what is so superior about being on a 110th ranked club? |

The GDA launched in 2017, this list is from 2018. Not even the Freshman on this likely didn’t have an opportunity or a need as a senior to play in DA. I think I’ll dig up some numbers from 2000 to show how good ODP is. |

The DA lasted two years and is gone. Their impact was effectively zero. They league was primarily rebranded ECNL clubs anyways. The rest were filler EDP/NPL clubs.
Get a grip. No other league in the nation, in the history of women's soccer, has impacted the women's game more than ECNL. |

You want to be the top league and be a top team then expect players to want to join for that reason. It is cut throat and frankly I don’t care if you want my kid on the team or not. |
