Get a grip. No other league in the nation, in the history of women's soccer, has impacted the women's game more than ECNL.

Now tell us about your team.

You tell us about your kids team. You're the one stating all the opinions. I'm just countering. So, go ahead.

You GA parents are clueless.

MUFC, McLean, BRYC and BSC all have players heading to or alum currently playing for Power 5 schools. FCV and WS/BA also sent a few but not on the same level.

I heard that Mclean's current u18/19 team which is sending 20+ kids to DI, has more than a half dozen going to Power 5, Ivy Leagues or College Cup participants. a half are heading players to ACC and SEC and the Ivies The u18/19 from two years ago had a similar number. Bethesda and MUFC aren't as strong but halve about half the number as McLean. Loudoun is new and I can't speak to VDA or BRYC. But if you wanted options you have three serious options and all three have a stronger track record than any ex-DA team.

Stop the non-sense

He’s with 2003 BU. Or his niece is with 04 BU. Or his neighbor is with 05 Celtic. Or he’s with a nonECNL Nova club but he’s looking.

It’s complicated

I’m convinced to leave GA for ECNL now I need to know what team I should head towards.

So, tell me about your Champions League calibre team I should tryout for.

I really don’t know why this is so hard to answer.

Mistake #1.

This isn't about recruiting and propaganda. No one cares if you bring your daughter to a particular club. That's your choice. The world will move on. Same for me and everyone else.

I need to know where your daughter plays and age group so I can recommend a club. I don't know why this is so hard for such an assertive and opinionated poster

You are conflating and probably confusing cause and effect. This is not uncommon on these boards but I am really tired of people doing this unless they show me these clubs had all these scholarship kids since U13. It's like saying Thomas Jefferson is the best high school in the country because its students have off-the-charts test scores and elite college admission. Well, it is a really good high school, but it is also a magnet for incredibly talented, ambitious kids. Create another magnet, same outcomes elsewhere. There's no magic here beyond marketing unless you developed most of these kids at the club. Then we'll talk.

Then why are you here and why do you care so much about another league?

Why the need to profess and list stats if you just don’t care? You seem to spend an awful lot of time in a thread about another league to talk about your league? If you’re not interested in my player or feel the quality of the teams and leagues are so beneath ECNL standards then why are you here?

And why can’t you talk about the quality of your team instead of a league and clubs thousands of miles away? We live and play soccer in VA so sell me your team. I suspect if you were proud of your team you would mention the team above a league and a club a thousand miles away.

And eventually ECNL will offer most of the GA clubs spots. So what have you really proven? The clubs were all good enough all along. So, assuming that happens, you can no longer sell league and instead you have to sell your club and team.

So once again, what separates your club/team from all the other ECNL options in the area?

Lol? Do you believe this to be true? Let me offer some foresight. The vast majority of GA clubs will never ever ever get an ECNL bid. Are their some good GA clubs and teams right now. Yes. Will they stay together after next year. Nope.

Simply not true. I know this hurts your feelings but if you’re not in now, you ain’t getting in. They got watered down a little when the DA started no need to add more also rans since all the real clubs came back.

You didn’t read the interview with Lavars very closely. Yes, more will be added but they have to phase adding clubs in order to expand the showcase logistics to support an influx of new clubs.

I hate to burst your bubble, but ECNL will add clubs strategically to end GA. And calling these clubs “also rans” shows how little you know about ECNL. 70% of the GA clubs were in ECNL before DA. ECNL backfilled their departures with also rans like BRYC, Loudoun and startup VDA. These GA clubs built ECNL, were both good enough to be in ECNL when being in ECNL was harder and they are still good enough to be in ECNL again.

This the most ill informed post today. Thanks for showing your hand. You are an ill-informed salesman.

People this poster just said that the GA clubs built ECNL.

If anyone is listening to this poster for advice, good luck

So clearly an FCV parent as the other GA local teams were not previously ECNL.
