What is something you'd never admit outloud...

I deal with them because they are my kids' friends' parents.

I hate standing on the sidelines with white males with a huge bellies, tucked in collared shirt and loafers screaming at their child. I know their kid will never live up to their expectation in school, on the field or their college acceptance list. I watch one by one as each parent is disappointed in their kids and their kids know it. I watch really nice kids turn in to douch bags like their dad and it makes me sad... Chasing money.

You sound jealous.

I have family wealth so I have the benefit of not pushing my kids because they will always have money. So not jealous but maybe out of touch on how desperate parents are to "ensure they succeed".

I am a feminist with many feminist friends (I mean like... serious, published in esteemed magazine feminist) who is in a state of perpetual rage about how women are treated in this country and statistics re: rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. And I have to admit I am so relieved Hilary did not win. But I could never admit this to ANYONE.

Were you typing quickly?

You are happy that women are sad about the rape and abuse statistics?

Could you point out where the PP said she was "happy that women are sad"? I must have missed it.

"State of perpetual rage" sound like sad to me but okay mad.

She is happy women are mad about sexual assaults?

She said that she is in a state of perpetual rage...

She loves Trumpsters because if Trump lost femanists would not be outraged about rape?

Is English not your first language?

No so please explain what she is trying to say. I really don't understand the statement but I do know English well enough to know she should not write "friends who is" so I figured she just wrote quickly.

She like trump so her femanist friwnd "who is" enraged over tape. That is what I read.

Ah, gotcha. I don’t think you understand how parentheses work- it’s basically a thought inserted into the middle of the sentence that doesn’t affect the flow of it. Therefore the sentence could really be read as “I am a feminist with many feminist friends who is in a state of perpetual rage”.

I can see how if English is not your first language, this would confuse you. “I” is the subject “is” is the verb- she was referring to herself. You are correct in that someone would not say “friends is” in English

Why would she be enraged by sexual assault and love Trump who sexually assaults women.

I think I understand sentace 2 but it seem to negate sentence 1.

I'm not quite sure I can solve whatever issues you seem to be dealing with. I suggest you improve your English before endeavoring to understand or engage in political discussion on here. It's a bit much to have people hand-hold you and explain the same simple sentence ad nauseam. But I commend you for trying.

Or she did not express herself well, ill stick with that and we will agree to disagree.

I don't tell people because I don't want them to think (or say) there's no way I can get my fat ass across the state, let alone the country. I'm also afraid I'll get 3 days in and realize I made a terrible mistake and I don't want to confess to that to lots of people (if it happens.) And lastly, I don't want people constantly asking me how the preparations are going. I plan to leave in roughly a year.

Good for you. Sounds wonderful and life changing

+1. Without a dream one is not living.

Economic diversity in schools isn't a good thing.

I think that the US should declare English as the national language

I really dislike most Indian men. Our IT dept recently outsourced with a bunch of them and I am tired of their terrible attempts at English and the never ending smell of curry.

I think WAMU/NPRs series called "The Trump Effect" needs to end now. I am tired of hearing about it, let it go.

Women's March was pointless and dumb and I can't believe people wasted their time and efforts to go for nothing.

I think people like you have small minds and even smaller hearts.
But I am willing to say that out loud.

His openness and direct answers are so different. The traditional sneaky ass politician speak looks so dishonest anymore.

I think there's a ton of us.

So his blatant lies are ok because he's not being sneaky? I don't get it.

The Donald is not outsmarting anyone except the idiots who voted for him. If you look at the responses in this thread from Trump supporters, is there any mention of a successful policy proposal or change that he's made? Has he followed through on any of his campaign promises? Have things in America really changed for the better?

Also, news flash--the swamp isn't drained, it's filled with even more lobbyists at higher levels of government--your president granted them all waivers.

All I see is increased violence, racism, and misogyny by people who now think they have a mandate to make America white again. The middle class continues to be gutted, while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Which is Trump's only objective. He doesn't care about our country at all.

I will never date another black man because of my ex. He lived up to the stereotype and doesn't take care of his kid. Because of this I will most likely be single forever because no one wants to date a single black mom.

I am SO in favor of heavy screening for refugees. There's a reason England has a terrorist attack every other week.

I'm sorry you had this experience. I don't want to sound cheesy, but don't give up on love. There is someone out there for you, and yes, he may be a different race, but maybe not. It takes time to heal from heartbreak. But you will.

We have always had heavy screening. Nobody is for lightening up screening.

I think I did find him, but he died very unexpectedly. He was the complete opposite of my ex and just so, wonderful.

I think all Catholics are going through hell. I don't pick friends based on their religion but when I find out they're Catholic, I just cringe on the inside.

I hate that stereotype. Lots of white guys don't take care of their kids, either (like my kid's dad). The black dads I know are pretty awesome. Anyway, you're better off without him around, and I hope you find a better guy!
