Wow. I usually think people are witches on DCUM. I think many of the responses here are too nice.

Is your MIL a foreigner? She might be trying to steal your ID to have a fake passport made for a relative.

Or, if she's a citizen, she also might be trying to steal your ID or maybe money or maybe she's a klepto. It sounds like your husband is a weenie and a chicken. Don't overlook this. Do you have kids? She is going to ruin your life.
