There is a nursing shortage but, hey, let’s make it even more difficult for people to get their nursing degree.

I hope this limits the number of Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants. There are too many out there taking on the role of doctors. It’s getting out of control.

Also of note - not only are these largely female professions, they’re mandated reporter roles too. We wouldn’t want the child abusers getting in trouble.

Republicans will just make some hypocritical carve-out so that there are more visas for importing nurses from the Philippines and elsewhere.

It’s cheaper to import nurses than hire Americans. I think that’s part of why this was done.

This way the rich kids can be full pay physical therapists and the poorer kids are locked out of the profession.

Speaking to and for God is professional. Sticking babies with hundreds of needles at some goofball doctor’s orders is not.
